Has anyone ever seen a composite where the 5 inner planets are not majorly aspected at all by saturn, uranus, neptune or pluto? I just ran across a friend's comp w/ her bf and that's the 1st time I've ever seen that. What would this imply?

I think it would lack dramas and twists, some may find it interesting, some may not. Saturn is needed for a long term relationship and Pluto also helps. It may not last for a long time.

Sounds excellent to me. Uranus+ planets are terrible for ruining relationships...

@nymi; lord, what kinds do you like? I prefer Uranian relationships to be honest...from strangers to best friends to enemies to lovers and back again. And in one week! All you ever need.

^^ I like Plutonian, not the extreme ones though.

My Uranian relationship was so fast, I could not keep up with its pace.

Off-topic: I thought that girl ate you for dinner.

Which girl? The Libra? Funny thing! We had fish sticks for breakfast! I was eating them, thinking damn, anonymidarkness is haunting me.

I've yet to have a Plutonic relationship...hm, but I did experience a Neptunian relationship! My fixedy is too controlling to like that. And then I think they, out of feeling unsure, tried disappearing on me at one point? As iiiif! I told them to trust me as I trusted them and they wouldn't get hurt!

Prick, prick, prii-iick! Went the scorpion's tail. (Points if you know where that's from, )

LOL @anonymidarkness and somethingexcellent--yes initially that's what I thought too, that they're lucky to not have all those outer planets doing their usual weird thing, but apparently that's not the case....

@ Doux Reve--they've been together for 5 years now and have 2 children. Their relationship is a roller coaster of drama--he's cheated on her countless times and had another child w/ the another girl during one of their "breaks". Something must be drawing them together though because they always go back to each other.

Because of this I'm starting to think we actually NEED all the influences of the outer planets...

Actually, it's not that surprising.

Unaspected planets tend to be very erratic, because they're not "connected" to the rest of the chart, which makes them unpredictable and I bet when a transiting planet hits one of them, it creates great upheaval.

They tend to "take over" the chart - sometimes they lie dormant but when they're expressed, it tends to be intense.

What does their synastry look like?
Maybe they have a lot of outer planet influences there.

That's interesting, Doux Reve. So does this mean that if their outer planets had been aspecting the inner planets, they would not have been "stabilized" in a way and not have such a crazy influence during transits? I could be wrong, but it would seem like adding the inner planets into the mixture would make things even crazier when a transit hits?

Their synastry does have much more outer planet aspects (mostly hers), but I had assumed this is because they were born in the same year.

Another noticeable thing about their comp is that the sun, moon, mercury and venus all aspect each other.

It would have been even more hectic I suppose.
I don't have much experience with composites unfortunately, need to learn more about them in practice.

But if the synastry shows prominent outer planet activity that could be it.

It's a pretty good thing to have personal planets aspect each other in the composite - especially the Sun and Moon since they basically show where the relationship is headed and how it makes people feel.

Yep they do have a sun-moon DW in synastry, as well as a sun-moon aspect in the comp so at least we have some possible reasons for why they're so drawn to each other! That and they have some nodal squares, which I've heard means it's a relationship that needs to be addressed.

Actually, the sun-moon aspect in their comp seems like a rare thing too--it doesn't appear as much in comps as, say, sun-venus-mercury stelliums.

Yes, I can see why they're attracted to each other.

Sun / Moon aspects in the composite are quite rare..
But they don't seem to be of paramount importance.
It's useful to have them in synastry though.
