A guy I met recently who claimed to have gotten good at astrology and such made a prediction that I will be meeting someone special soon (actually predicted that it will happen at the end of this month, the prediction was made last month). Anyway, sure enough, my friend texted me 2 weeks ago and said that she wanted to introduce me to a guy and expected that to happen at the end of july!! I am just super shocked at how accurate his prediction is! so, how do we look for that in the chart?

Looking at the transits (using Placidus) to your chart I see that Mercury rules your 5th House and is transiting through your 5th. Though it was retrograde and has just started moving forward, indicating forward movement in romance? Also, at the same time the North Node is retrograding to conjunct your natal Mercury in the 9th House. And Venus is transiting your 7th House and will conjunct your Vertex very soon.

He could have taken from that that you'll speak with a foreigner in a romantic way and the vertex conjunction makes it significant for you?

I'm not very good at prediction but I'm sure other posters have more skill with it and I'll be interested to read their answers!

I said "foreigner" because the North Node will cross your 5th House ruler's natal position in the 9th House. The 5th house pertaining to romance and the 9th House pertaining to everything foreign to you, foreign people, foreign ideas, foreign countries, etc.

Though I was specifically looking for romantic indicators. I don't know how well I'd do if I looked at your chart without a directive question.

If there's a recipe for reading a chart whether it is gona last or not - I haven't figured it out.

Horary might be more insightful for that sort of thing. I'm not experienced in reading horary though.
