I have jupiter retrograted in 5th house/Uranus in 6th house/neptune also in 6th/Pluto in 4rth I am concerned about jupiter, though."Jupiter Retrograde Natal Your optimism, faith in life and generosity are buried deep inside and you feel awkward and perhaps even uncomfortable displaying these characteristics. Your luck in life is attached to displaying these characteristics and so until you do, you may feel unlucky at times. This is because Jupiter is trying to make you go deep within to find what it is that is holding you back from experiencing all the positive expansion that Jupiter wants to bring you. Depending on what house Jupiter is in will tell you where you are holding back. Jupiter is about belief, faith and hope, all the things that miracles are born of. If you do not grab hold of your faith in having whatever it is that you want in your life then you are only holding yourself back. You tend to be more pessimistic rather than optimistic. However, like all retrogrades the rewards are that you will understand the meaning of faith more than most and have the greater possibility of understanding that the more positive you become, the more positive things are to happen for you." Do you guys have retrograted planets?Which ones? ------------------ I am stuck in a daydream IP: Logged |

I am really not that familiar with Jup Retro from the charts. It is kind of rare. I have several Retros-Saturn, Chiron, Merc and Neptune.I will make some guess on Jupiter Retro and you tell me if I am right. Do you fell other people get "good luck" and opportunities while you wait in the sidelines? Do you feel like you will get back luck, rather than good? Do things you want seem to be delayed to the point you think you never will get them? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Oh,yes.I feel unlucky a lot and I probably am.I also have Sun Sq Saturn which makes me even more unlucky? Retrograted Jupiter blocks my excitement too Here; Mercury retrograde natal You tend to analyse your thoughts prior to speaking out and run over every situation and it's outcome therefore you are able to make solid decisions. You rarely jump into anything lightly, without first thinking things through because of this you can sometimes analyse something to death, which can make you slower at making decisions, which can be stressful. When asked about your opinion on matters you don't easily say what's on your mind without a thorough breakdown of the consequence, which can leave things unsaid that may have been better off said. You have a deep penetrating mind and are excellent at and enjoy research and investigations. You exercise caution when angered, and are able to calmly think things through prior to blurting out something that you don't mean, so you rarely end up with foot in mouth syndrome. If you look closely you will notice that when Mercury moves into retrograde you are actually quite comfortable with the energy and probably have less trouble with communication problems. Communication, writing, texting, email and local travel are areas that you will have perfected later in life and have the potential to be quite effective in these areas. Mercury retrograde has made you much more thorough in your endeavors, which doesn't leave much room for error.------------------ I am stuck in a daydream IP: Logged |

I am so tired of hearing negative things about retrograde planets. I have mars retro and I don't believe the hype. Heres someting from I read on an indian astrology site:" A retrograde Mars in a horoscope usually signifies an excess of energy within the native and the native may not know what to do with this energy at times. So it can make the native aggressive and such natives may get angry comparatively sooner. A native with a retrograde Mars in his horoscope may take surprising decisions at times. A retrograde Mars in case of females may show some masculine habits like the tendency to control and dominate. Apart from these general deviations, a retrograde Mars gives its results in a very much similar way as a forward moving Mars. But it is important to notice that a retrograde Mars possesses far more energy than a forward moving Mars and it is capable of producing results of higher quantum and intensity. So people with a negative retrograde Mars in their horoscope must be careful as it can cause much more damage than a forward moving Mars." IP: Logged |

I have it too. It is just a depth of thinking because one must go deep into things to understand them but then the person can be super creative with his thinking. I have it in Gemini. I really like Merc Retro, myself ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

When dealing with Retrograde planets, I prefer the work done by Martin Schulman - Retrogrades and Reincarnation.Snippets from his book: Mercury Retrograde - "When Mercury appears Retrograde in the horoscope, the individual's conscious mind is capable of tapping ideas in the universal consciousness from prior times." "In areas which require concentration, this individual can be an excellent student even though it may take him a little longer to grasp ideas and principles. In the end he will know the subject more thoroughly and with much greater insight and depth than the individual with direct-motion Mercury." Jupiter Retrograde - "The individual with Retrograde Jupiter is a living truth unto himself. His ideals about right and wrong, the morality of the world he travels in, and the fairness of other people's opinions has little effect on what he feels inside." "Basically he is a free spirit. And, while he will conform to the ideals of society which are helpful to him, he struggles constantly to maintain his sense of individuality."

I have Sun Sq Saturn too. It doesn't make me unlucky more as the perspective of limitation and obstacles confront the personal ego and seem to 'wound' it's expectations. I have Neptune, Uranus, Pluto all Retrograde. IP: Logged |

It would be the opposite of quick tempered. It would be an inner directed temper

I have Mercury retrograde. Nothing too dramatic about it.Retrograde planets aren't that bad, in my opinion. They just operate on a different level, a more internalised one. IP: Logged |

Retrograde is internalized energy while direct are outer circumstances. You are not a outwardly expressive person with Jupiter in retrograde. Since Jupiter is largely luck! Jupiter retrograde means that your luck comes from using Jupiter in it's positive expression by which he is in a direct state. The energy of Jupiter is held inside In the areas of the 5th house (Love, romance, children, creativity etc) In love you are not one to express this outwardly in a happy positive way, you tend to be more internalized and may not feel able to express your love nature openly and can be uncomfortable with attempts to express romance . You may not express the abundance of creativity that you truly have either, perhaps out of fear or disbelief. Jupiter is where you seek to expand, and find the most luck, and are rewarded for participating in all things Jupiter (higher learning, positive expression, travel, beliefs). Wherever Jupiter is in a chart is the area that you express that boundless enthusiasm! When Jupiter is retrograde, you internalize this energy and you choose not to express it. If you wish to express this energy more and uncover areas of luck, then reading about Jupiter is very helpful as well as any mantras, herbs, candle scents, etc..Jupiter related. Also" knowledge of it" is medicine in itself. Retrograde planets provide second chances, to review and rewind. In areas of the 5th house you will probably meet many loves from past lives again in this lifetime. This is what a friend of mine told me(she's an astrologer with over 20 years of experience)

Saturn, Uranus and Neptune retrograde, ruling my 4th, 5th and 6th house. I do feel there's been a lot of delay in those areas and that I'm going backwards here while everyone else is getting ahead. This website is pretty good! It says that the houses with the sign the retrograde planet normally rules will also be affected. I never would've thought of that, but yes, I do relate. http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/RETROGRADE.html IP: Logged |
