Someone mind explaining this to me? it seems a bit confusing.If I was a sag rising at 4 degrees; what decan would I be and what does this change about me or amplify? IP: Logged |

It makes you a pure Sag rising. 1st decan is Sag(0-9) decan, 2nd Aries(10-19) decan and 3rd Leo(20-29) decan. Elbertwade.com has good descriptions about decans. IP: Logged |

Yeah. Different decans are ruled by different planets. Your decan is ruled by Jupiter. You may have some traits of the sign your Jupiter is in as well. IP: Logged |

So, if my ASC is 12 degrees Libra, I am in the Aqua decan and so will have some Uranus influence on how I look/mannerisms etcI dress with some sort of subtle funk  ------------------

My ascendant is at 9 degrees Libra, just on the edge of the Libra decan. I have Uranus conjunct my ascendant giving me a similar vibe as the Aqua decan. I have two planets and ascending degree in the Capricorn duad of Libra so I am more Saturnine/Uranian than Venusian even though Libra's ruler nicely aspects the ascendant and planets, one being the sun's ruler, Mercury. So, how exactly does the decan effect you--looks? mental energy? All sorts of ways? Is it a strong energy of the ruling planet on you that you can feel? If you can explain more, that would be great. If not, no problem.

30 degrees are divided into 12 parts. Each part contains 2.5 degrees. These parts are called duads. The 1st duad of a sign belongs to the same sign. For example, Libra ASC’s first duad belongs to Libra(0-2.5), second Scorpio and the rest follow in order of the zodiac signs until the 12th duad(27.6-30.00) which belongs to Virgo. Ami, I guess it's a very 'pure' energy - Mercury is emphasised, and mine being in a Water sign, my thinking tends to be quite subjective and emotional, sometimes dark and obsessive. Looks-wise, I'm a mix of Gemini - tall, wide-spaced eyes, long limbs -, and Scorpio - angular features, prominent eyebrows, large bone structure. I'm not very feminine in my speech / behaviour, I think that's because Mercury is a neutral planet. Whereas someone with a Gemini ASC in the Libra decan or with Mercury in a more feminine sign like Cancer or Pisces would probably be more 'elegant' or 'feminine' in a way. IP: Logged |

A lot people have asked me if I am a scorpio but I have no personal planet in that sign.Maybe it is my sun's decan in scorpio or my moon square pluto?------------------

^^ Moon square Pluto may not be so visible and I think Sun sign being in Scorpio decan would not really be enough. Where is Pluto in your chart? Does it make any aspect to your ASC?IP: Logged |

My pluto is retrograted in Sagittarius 1 degree,it does not make any aspect with my Asc,though.Maybe they think so because for a Leo rising,I don't shine that bright anymore lol ------------------
