Been reading the last week or so about north and south nodes like never before. My North Node in Picses in the 5th house, south node in Virgo in the 11th. It seems to go with a theme I've been on as of late, and what I've truly believed most of my life. To just go of control and go with the flow.

But while I have believed this most of my life, I've never been able to truly embrace  it. One of the reasons is that I have ALLOT of Virgo directly or heavily influenced in my chart: Moon, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto in Virgo conjunct the south node. Then Chiron, Venus and Saturn in the sixth house. My ruling planets are Pluto (which is in Virgo) and mercury ( which is in Gemini and the ruler of Virgo as well).

On top of that I have no support for my North node in pisces, in the fifth house.I have no other Pisces in my chart or even Leo. And 7 planets opposite or square Pisces (the four planets in Virgo I just mentioned, mercury and sun in Gemini, and mars in sag), and the three other planets in the sixth house enforcing the opposition.

Is this as difficult as it looks? Or is there something I'm missing?

If you remove the 6th House planets for a second, you have:

4 Planets directly in Virgo. Of those 4, only the Moon is a personal planet while the others are more trans-personal planets.

Your Moon is opposite your North Node which is good because it forces your psyche to feel the dynamic and energy between your past and future growth which is probably why you 'understand' what you need, but struggle with it.

Having said that, the 'struggle' is actually what tempers your soul and provides it's growth which may be while you chose to have so many Virgo influence in your chart. If you can be content with the little successes here and there and forgive yourself when you feel like a failure, it might help.

PS: I have Moon opposite my North Node too.

My situation is similar:

north node is in Pisces/h6
South node is in Virgo/h12

sun is in Virgo, not conjunct the node. Still, it's opposite Pisces.

It can complicate interpretation; which one am I supposed to focus on? Adding to the confusion, both are in the opposite house they traditionally rule.

With Jupiter conjunct your south, perhaps karma is giving you a break

I find it useful to balance the characteristics of Virgo/Pisces. Don't do either to excess, let them have an equal say in your life.

You can also try blending the two energies. An example would be using the Virgo skills with empathy and compassion blended in, not be so harsh. Pisces north node will give you empathy/compassion/understanding of others emotional needs. Virgo north will allow you to interpret everything around you, so you can understand what is going on. It's like a critic who feels the need to explain everything. Problem is, it can be too cold. This is where Pisces north node steps in to balance that.
