I am sorry to begin a new thread, but as i found so much more, i am not asking the initial question again. What are your experience with aspect configurations in synastry? Particularly i am interested in Grand Cross and Diamond pattern (distorted pentagram, as it has been called) Look, we have: My Mars Gemini 14°07 His Venus Pisces 14'35 His Uranus Saggitarius 13'32 My ASC Virgo 13'39 So, this would be a mutable grand cross, right? What would this imply? Another aspect pattern is following: My Mars Gemini 14'07 My Moon Leo 13'24 My Venus Libra 14'24 His Uranus Saggitarius 13'32 His Venus Pisces 14'34 So it is:
My Mars sextile My Moon EXACT My Moon sextile My Venus EXACT My Venus sextile His Uranus EXACT My Mars opposite His Uranus EXACT My Mars trine My Venus EXACT My Moon trine His Uranus EXACT My Mars square His Venus EXACT His Venus square His Uranus 1 His Venus quincunx My Moon 1 His Venus quincunx My Venus EXACT What would you think this pattern would do in our synastry? I am sure it has a meaning, because it seems so perfect - i always wondered why his Uranus sits exactly at that place, when ALL the exact aspects with my planets and points... And yes, there's a configuration. How do i figure out what it means?

Patterns like the ones you listed are very strong in synastry, usually they make people aware of each other and often there's attraction because they make people feel more complete or like the other has something one lacks.IP: Logged |

Ok that's interesting. So this is called a DIAMOND. I had no idea. So, One of the red squares is his Venus/Uranus. And the rest is your Mars/Moon/Venus (with your desc. on the Yod-apex: his Venus). Shall we say that his very independent nature in matters of love is challenged/enhanced here? Well at least I guess it'll bind him in a way he isn't exactly used to. Is that noticable? IP: Logged |

Yes, it sounds very like that. He isn't very fond of committing (Venus square Uranus), but at the same time he does not involve in relationship if he is not sure he would give him all, if he is not sure of committing - so only serious relationships go for him (Venus trine Saturn Scorpio 15!
I forgot to mention that in all that pattern there is also my ASC - DSC axis. His Venus (the ruling point of this DIAMOND) sits exactly on my DSC! Put in my asteroid Karma right on his Venus, and his asteroid Karma right on my ASC, opposite his Venus, and you get the picture. O_O (That's where the Grand Cross comes in...) Also i wanted to ask - if transits activate one of the planets in this structure, are all of them influenced and the energy flows through all the configuration?
I am just having Venus exactly conjunct my ASC on August 3, which also means it would exactly square my Mars and his Uranus, be opposite his Venus, etc. And transit Mars sits on HIS ascendant that day, though, not exact, but still - exactly squaring my Venus and exactly trining his Venus. OMG, i am going to blow my mind up! IP: Logged |

Yess for sure this could have its influence. And let me know if it really does. For example we first met when t. Venus was touching our "SEER" pattern (on my Pluto in that configuration). Ok, I just now know it's called a SEER It's not very different from your DIAMOND. Just one planet shift (the venus) in your diamond. Both are symmetrical patterns btw, which are always more powerful than A-symmetrical patterns. Scroll down to the bottom and you will find a diagram with all kinds of patterns. The SEER is number 27. The Diamond here is called T-wedges (nr. 21) http://www.angelfire.com/journal/GregoryJdeMontfort/AspectPatternsConfigurations.htm IP: Logged |

There may be an easier way to read and understand complicated Synastry pie chart aspects. Pie chart aspects can also be produced onto a basic Synastry Aspect Chart. Review the sample chart at your leisure. It may help you gain even more insight than you currently have. http://risingpeople.wix.com/synastry-aspecting Slowpoke
