So,I guess the way we love has a lot to do with our Moon and Venus. What about the sun/mars and asc?And the placements?Isn't it all a combination of those? How do you love according to your natal chart? IP: Logged |

Yes, they all do, but the type of love varies and also how it's displayed according to house and sign. Also, I think the 5th house has something to do with this, too. So for me: Venus in Pisces in 6th - I love my pets unconditionally Moon in Leo in 10th - I love to perform in public and get some status from doing that Mars in Cancer in 9th - I love God and actively nurture my relationship to the creator Sun in Aquarius in 4th - I love to make my home a unique expression of who I am Mercury in Aquarius in 5th - I love to use my mind Libra Ascendant - I love to keep things in balance and get along with others IP: Logged |

Moon, Mars, Venus...all important. The Moon is what we're comfortable with and what we're attracted to, Venus is what we want to have and what we value, and Mars is what we want to prove and live out. It all comes together. That said, I have Moon square Venus and the things I want are at conflict all the time...do I want to hold your hand? No not now get away from me! Now do I want to hold you hand? No I want snuggle come here... IP: Logged |

I have Moon sq Venus, too. Mine mostly plays out like this..I meet a guy who I'm physically attracted to, but doesn't satisfy me emotionally .. and vice-versa. There isn't one "perfect" guy for me, so I always need two. LOL..I'm just kidding! IP: Logged |

Or an exact conjunction to your Moon-Venus midpoint from one of his personal planets IP: Logged |

^ <3 EmpressMMoon dispositor is Venus. Moon in Taurus loves with all its physical senses. Like Moon in Taurus, Venus is in the 4th house (the Moon's natural abode), producing a creature of comfort. If I ever experience some profound form of love I suppose I expect to have all my senses overwhelmed, so I may crave physical-emotional bliss. Venus is in Sagittarius though and Moon is in the original domicile to Jupiter/Sagittarius, the chaperon, Jupiter is present, (as well as her biological father entity Uranus, by conjunct). Which means I don't care to be stuffed away in a dungeon paradise when there* is a big world out there to explore. I prefer to love freely and without inhibition, to unwind with my partner instead of shackling one another down or being tied to their hip. That itself is the only area I've ever had some form of (natal) struggles. Mars ruled 8th, Mars in Scorpio tightly wrangled in with its dispositor Pluto has a different temperament in love and at least by sign doesn't go for the same superficial physical plane inspired emotions and attachments that Moon itself craves. It never agrees with (most of) what Venus would like (or stands for) either in relationships. Mars wants love to be deeper than flesh and thicker than blood. It wants to have a mutual dependency, like two addicts feeding into their unhealthy habits with their intense devotion. It wants 110% of the entirety of its lovers being and soul to belong to them, with little interest in the freedoms that attract Venus, and finding more comfort in the well of an emotional labyrinth that it often creates around whatever it is lusting for. Mars is stationed in the house of Gemini/Mercury though, and is at least willing to negotiate and deliberate once a treaty has been established with Venus and Jupiter, thanks to the impartial influence of Mercury. Venus is the only weakness Mars has, that's the way I see it anyway. ^^; It is, has always been, and always will be all or nothing, but with age, experience, maturity - Things seem to either pass quickly and without event, or fall perfectly into equilibrium eventually. (It's just always better if I let Venus be the guide.) lol IP: Logged | |
