I've experienced various forms of Venus-Pluto before, and recently one that I found new and fascinating: I have it with someone in conjunction at 2 degree orb, I'm Venus he is Pluto. Since this person is a coworker and I hate work romance, I'm not experiencing the sexual side of this conjunction, but mutual fascination and attraction yes. Until later this happened...I saw Pluto playing at a musical show and was attracted to the instrument he used which was an ancient zither. He offered to show me in a meeting, then BAM! all of a sudden the infamous Venus-Pluto connection was ignited - through music. I became completely and uttered enthralled with this instrument and have immediately started learning. On the other hand, this person was determined since day one that I commented on this music and exchanged some emails that I should really try to pick it up. (Pluto draw/ locked in on Venus) and have been very determined to help set me on a musical course. (Power of transformation). Since I've been learning for a few months now I really do feel that it helped me become more centered, relaxed and joyful. I'd say I've been transformed - and I just noted that Venus does also rule music...
So happy to know that Venus-Pluto can finally have some POSITIVE impact on a relationship. I'm glad that there is no sexual manifestation here. Nonetheless the power of soul connection through music was present - or more like, soul connection to the instrument and ancient music can be mutually felt, like I could comprehend how he feels about the music and he understood my fervor in learning.
As a reference, my other Venus-Pluto connections were not so fortunate. Another Venus-Conjunct-Pluto (me Venus) resulted in me being enthralled and in love and the Pluto becoming manipulative and wanted to control the relationship by creating instances of jealousy and then playing lots of sexual power games, eventually hurting my feelings, and since Venus is less obsessed in the VP conjunction I called it quits. Pluto followed for a bit then quit as well. I was typically Venus in this VPC as I wanted love, but this Pluto was suppressing his love and once said to me:"I like sexually dominating you" - A freaking 100% Pluto conjunct Venus statement! As the inner planet, I felt very hurt and missed him for a while, while Pluto was seemingly untouched after a while and just moved on.
Another Venus Square Pluto with me being Pluto was textbook as well: At first Venus was utterly in love and I was like "What?!" since I didn't find him attractive but kinda intriguing. Then after getting to know the person I fell for him as well so we had a relationship that was quite nice - and yes sex was off the charts. Then I got annoyed as this person because he got to a prominent social position and from my view was getting vain and wanting too much public attention- Maybe my Pluto control kicked in over the badly aspected Venus and started noticing only the negative side of Venus (vanity, superficiality) and told him I liked him when he had more "substance" (Pluto wanting depth) and eventually we graduated and parted ways.
Anyways, posting to say YES to finally a Venus-Pluto connection of positive transformation and outcome, don't lose hope on VP conjunction - I guess you can use it for your own good!
Btw, since I'm Venus/Mars in Scorpio, I tend to become the inner planet for a generation - is it true that the inner planet person will always "lose out", be the weak one/ be controlled, and be hurt in the end? Wonder if I should just run like hell from now on…
