what in someone's chart would make them more likely to getting cheated on?
what about cheating on another person?

I know that Saturn in aspects with Venus makes a person more stable and serious about the relationships they create,therefore less prone to cheat on their partner.
I have Venus tight conjunct Mars in Gemini,classic cheater aspect,I flirt when I find someone interesting but in the more airy way than a scorpio venus would but never cheat,I have Venus Sextile Saturn.I hope that helped somehow.IP: Logged |

Perhaps Venus in Sagittarius and hard Venus-Jupiter aspects, along with hard Venus-Neptune aspects.Venus in Sagittarius, especially as I've seen in a few men, has a tendency for a 'roaming' eye in his love nature, just like this expansive sign. Venus-Jupiter hard contacts can indicate a slightly hedonistic/indulgent side and this may mean an over indulgence in sex and other physical pleasures such as eating. This may make the person lean toward not being able to get enough or feel settled with just one person for a long period of time, when other things tempt them - like a gorgeous face/body. Venus-Neptune and Mars-Neptune, for the matter, tends to go either way. Sometimes this may mean a very scattered and promiscuous love/sex nature or else, a fairy tale desire for purity and perfection. And it's not abnormal for people with one or both to swing between the two over their lifetimes. Venus in Gemini may also lead to a wandering eye. After all, it's on the same polarity as Sagittarius, and its communicable, airy love nature may lead to the person with this placement being too charming and flirtatious with other people, even in the presence of a partner. What about in a hard aspect like the square? What about Venus in the 12th? Such a person's love life would have a hidden aspect to it, which suggests secret affairs or relationships with people who are unavailable. In these scenarios, someone's bound to be cheating or cheated upon. IP: Logged |

You need to take the chart as a whole. I think people cheat for different reasons. One might cheat from insecurity (looking for validation of their desirability), or boredom, or revenge for a perceived slight, or loneliness when their partner isn't available, to protect themselves from getting more involved then they want, or because their feeling suffocated by a clingy partner, or "on principle" because they think their partner cheated and they want to balance things out, or because they're not getting what they want/need from their current relationship, or . . .It still comes down to choice. And people change over time (not their chart, but how they handle it). Sometimes people try it and decide "never again". Sometimes they think "I'll never cheat" but they end up so (drunk, high, grieved) that they DO. I wouldn't try to predict what someone is inclined to do just based off on one aspect or sign placement. IP: Logged |
