Out of curiosity and learning purposes, what are your thoughts about this relationship? You can say anything, there is no wrong or right here. Do you think it's a happy relationship? Unfortunately, the guys TOB is not known, i selected an aquarius ascendant because he looks like one. Just focus on the aspects and thanks a lot! IP: Logged |

All synastry analysis must start with analyzing the natals of the individuals involved. Without doing that first, there's no point in trying to interpret a synastry. What would that Venus conjunct Ascendant (or any of the other aspects) be triggering for each of the people involved? Just based on this one aspect as an example, I'd say that you're attracted to him, but unless Venus is important in his chart (ruler of an angle or a node), it may not really register with him.Personally, I'm also feeling the frustration of not having a birth time for the guy in which I'm interested. I can't even analyze HIS chart properly without knowing exactly what degree his Moon is on or what his angle rulers are! I already know that I'm attracted to him and I've gained some insight into why by seeing how his planets trigger the sensitive points in my chart. But I can't begin to find out about my impact on him without that key bit of info. VERY, VERY FRUSTRATING!!! IP: Logged |

Here's a quote and a link that you might find helpful:A natal chart needs to be analyzed for its relationship signatures before we can compare it to another chart for compatibility. I don’t see this much talked about in astrological circles anymore, though it was once considered the most important part of a synastry. Because if what I have to offer doesn’t fit your inner pattern of what a partner is, you will not consider me as a potential mate, no matter how many interaspects we have between our charts. This inner script of partnership determines for us who is a potential partner and who is not. http://theinnerwheel.com/2009/09/21/synastry-studies-the-inner-script/ IP: Logged |

Jkitty, i can't tell you how much frustrated i also feel that i don't know his birth time! Unfortunately there is no way to find out. I can't just go and ask him. But what you said, the venus-ascendant conjunction makes me feel attracted to him is very true.IP: Logged |

Isn't Venus important in his chart even without his birth time? After all, his sun is in libra.IP: Logged |

Important in understanding his natal? Yes. It makes him a "Scorpio flavored" Libra as opposed to, say, a "Virgo flavored" Libra. Since Venus can't be more than 45 degrees from the Sun anyway, the options for "flavors" of Libra are minimal (3-4) depending on the Sun's degree within Libra).Important in a synastry? That would depend on whether it rules an angle or node or is on one of his angles. It's like the difference between having your antenna up and turned on (or not). IP: Logged |
