I honestly believe that modern systems of astrology really have to begin incorporating the past history of a person to truly get an accurate personality profile.

To use an example I knew this guy back in high school who was a douchebag. If you knew the guy, his personality would have seemed like a macho tough guy, the classic Aries man minus the bragging and open aggression. He got into a fights and other trouble and his parents were even worried about him getting expelled or even going into prison. He wore tattoos and mouth rings and other stuff that would give you the impression this guy was in a gang.

I recently just saw this guy again and HE no longer dresses up this way. If anything from what I seen he becomes like the classic Capricorn man in the way he dresses: Someone who at the very least gives off the impression that he is a responsible person. I recently found out he joined the army after high school and he now has a son. He said in a conversation I saw he him having with friends years ago he really did seem like he was going to be locked up but after joining the army he finally made a future for himself. He no longer gets into trouble and has matured into a family man.

I recently learned he was a CAPRICORN. This is amusing because he seemed more Aries when I knew him back in high school. Granted I don't know the rest of his chart and its possible he may have Aries as his Ascendant, but he was so immature when I knew him years ago. I can't help but think joining the Army and later having a son activated the Capricorn personality within him. Because he was probably the least Capricornish Capricorn you'd ever meet if you knew him in high school.

I will use myself as an example. Its a really complex one but I'll keep it simple. I was the classic Pisces man in every way in my late high school years and early adult years. As in I was in an escapist world, I was indulgent, I was lazy, and every other negative traits related to Pisces. With a strong touch of Scorpio like self-centered personality, tendency to use physical violence esp. when bullied, and a perverse fascination with war and militarism.

Actually I even think my Piscean traits in those years were activated because of both being a Scorpio dominant and having Scorpio Ascendant:

I WANTED to join the military and become a career soldier. When I learned in my late high school years I would immediately be disqualified because of a host of conditions, I was seriously hurt. So hurt I stopped taking life seriously. I felt it was better I just died than lived on this earth because no amount of wealth and good life would make up for the fact that I'm a failure because I couldn't join the ranks of courageous war heroes like Audie Murphy and Marcel Bigeard. I stopped taking life seriously and just slacked off being addicted to gaming addict, becoming fat (even though I lost some weight), and flunking in personal responsibilities like college and hygiene. My family suffered as a result;prior to realizing the DQs, I already had vicious fights against my family in regards to joining the military (which my parents were against).

Back in 2012 however I learned the realities of the military. Most soldiers who joined don't do so out of civic reasons but because they couldn't find jobs elsewhere, they needed the GI bill for college, or to avoid a prison sentence. There is so much incompetence and corruption within the military esp. among the high ranks and the low ranks are suffering as a result (men even get KILLED in Iraq and Afghanistan because of the incompetence of high ranks!!!!!!). There's so much stupidities and abuses in the military my worship for soldiers basically was shattered and so was my view of the world and life. I quickly lost my Piscean beliefs and view of the world sand my Piscean bad habits were gradually lost. Oddly my life reversed for the better. I became skinnier and now am on my way to getting an athlete's build. I'm not indulgent like I used to be and my personality is much more hardworking.

More life experiences that shattered my world view this summer even made me more and more Scorpionic and even made more Capricorn. I'll leave it here but I can't help but think being rejected by the military activated the Pisces traits. Having my idealistic view of the military shattered gradually molded me into a Scorpio personality at the core and even added Capricorn traits.

When I learned the realities of the military I was like "**** I can't believe I WANTED to join this corrupt institution??!!!!" and suddenly I felt a burden on myself that made me feel so weak and Piscean energy was just lifted and all the Scorpio energy started just joining in.

I really do believe had I not had DQs and had I joined the military I would never have become the Piscean personality I was. I would have immediately transitioned into a Scorpio personality had I seen all the corruption in the armed forces had I been able to serve and it wouldn't have taken me 5 years gain the legendary Scorpio willpower and self-discipline and the traits of both my Scorpio dominated chart and Scorpio Ascendant would have been readily apparent as intrinsic elements of my personality.

So I really feel a flaw of current western astrology is that it acts like every things all based on the person's natal charts.

Though I do think that Western Astrology doesn't seem to be as tight a method as Eastern Astrology, I definitely could see how your progressed chart and transits could bring up the experiences you've had.

Astrology books, the non-cookbook ones, are very explanatory when it comes to big transformations and lifestyle shifts. Those are usually the more solid predictions because the slower moving planets make such an impact on our angles and inner planets.

she's had (has) more than 3 handles here. I reckon her next incarnation will be about the 6-7th.

I think we're due for a return of everyone's favourite Leo Sun Scorpio Moon, PFG (PiscesFishGoddess) or whichever new handle he thinks up to go with the previous 4.
