I have to ask this because I have been wondering and there's no decent info on the internet.
What happens when two planets are in the same sign,for instance,Moon and Uranus but they do not form a conjunction?Especially in a synastry chart

That's called an aspect by sign...I would think the planets act similar but don't affect one another.

Wouldn`t be that important if one of the planets is an outer planet.

Would it be important if it was A's moon and B's Sun/Venus/Mars or mercury?

Not as important as in an actual aspect, but there might be an underlying understanding or harmony, as their personal planets express in similiar ways (of course aspects would modify it).
