What are the good qualities of earth signs that are not related to the paradigm of earthliness?

Not interesting: stability, reliability, practical approach to life and all that jazz.

In other words: do they possess any qualities to fascinate and move a heavily Neptune/Pluto influenced Gem Rising who only cares about intensity and resonance and for whom earthliness is a turn-off/insult? Do they even stand a chance?

In a totally different vein: how is it possible to achieve spiritual bliss through physical senses? i am a pantheist but i know there's no god in beefsteak (with all due respect... to beefsteak) or in perfume or anywhere

Anyway, a while ago I wouldn`t have understood it myself and maybe I am not good in explaining anyway, but lately, especially when walking barefoot, I literally can feel the earth`s energy (maybe just my imagination, but it is a powerful feeling). Usually it feels like energy coming up from the earth through my feet and spreading through my body and to the crownchakra, which usually is buzzing like crazy then. And it is a very allencompassing feeling, a connectedness with everything, but at the same time having a clear feeling of being at my centre.

I told you I canīt explain it well.
I have had the buzzing above my head all my life, but that feeling of planted in the earth, too, is a recent development.
And to me at least it feels healthier. I used to feel very lightheaded, but that is not the case anymore.

Now, I know that this is probably not what yo u mean, but for me it started big time, after meeting that guy, who has a lot of Fire (like) me, but also has a Mars-Jupiter-conjunction in Earth signs and Venus in Earth signs.
Before I definitely stayed away from all earth signs (boring, I said).

But something just clicked inside me; and his physicality and comfort in his own skin was what stood out to me the most.
The most curious thing though is, that whenever he is in physical proximity, there is this really strong electric current. I don`t know why this is there, but it is. And the most spiritual experience I have had, associated with him, or triggered by him.
And no, he is not spiritual in the sense we think of it.

But this kind of spirituality has much to do with life-energy. And that is something that can come with physical contact (not with every physical contact though of course). It`s an awareness, or sensing of another person in an allencompassing way. On a cellular level so to speak.

I can`t put it into words, cause there are no words. It`s just BEING. (actually it is a feeling oneness with everything).

That sounds like utter crap, I know, so I just give up. I cannot explain it.

i guess i am in touch with this dimension so tend to take it for granted. i am allegedly supposed to be a Capricorn (and taurus moon, come to think of it), but too much Scorpio/Pisces kind of makes me have my priorities in that domain and mostly ignore physicality. its similar to not remembering all of my limbs function properly i suppose... i don't know why i'm like that. my chart pretty much screams i should enjoy earthliness, but i have a "screw that" attitude towards it

I was like that all my life, too. I didn`t really know what I had a body for, except that I was angry at it for being a jail for my mind, spirit, however you call it (though it was soaring high all the time nevertheless, sometimes leaving my feeling physicall weakened, dizzy etc.).

It is only recently that I feel like I`ve arrived in my body (without neglecting the more spiritual dimensions of my being - my spirit will ALWAYS soar, that is what it does, quite simply), but I noticed that I am also (and have always been) in touch with more physical, earthly energies.
But it needed to reawaken.

My Venus is in Capricorn - but the only planet in earth, so I neglected it. But it wants to be integrated, and it has been a most fulfilling experience, starting to do that.

Apart from that Neptune and Pluto play a major role for me as well. Neptune conjuncts my Mars, NN and ASC (it is my rising planet), is in mutual reception with Jupiter in Pisces (which disposits all my Sag-planets).

Pluto sits on the MC and squares Venus, but also sextiles Mars-Neptune-NN-ASC.

I totally agree with that. Yes. There is something like TOO Much earth.

Of course I am only talking from my point of view, but with 4 personal planets, the NN and ASC in fire (Sagittarius) and a lofty Aquarius-Moon, someone with too much earth, would drive me crazy.
Well I wouldn`t stick around long enough for that probably.

On the other hand my best friend is a Virgo (but she has Moon in Aries and a stellium of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Pluto in Libra).

In the case of the guy I mentioned, I believe it is only such a positive experience for me because he also has a lot of fire energy (Sagittarius).

My mom is practically all Water and Earth.
Sun and Mercury in Scorpio, ASC in Cancer, and Moon, Venus and Mars in Virgo.
As much as I love her, it is a very heavy draining combo for me, and probably one reason I was suppressing my fire for quite some time.

I never needed to suppress my Air though (Moon in Aquarius). My Mum has Uranus conjunct ASC sextile her Venus and Mars - my Dad has Sun, Venus and jupiter in Aquarius (the lattre two conjunct my Moon) and Mars in Libra.
In a way my Aquarius-energy was easier to accept for them than my fire-energy (my middle brother has ASC in Aquarius, and my youngest brother has Mercury in Aqarius and his Sag Moon conjunct Jupiter and Uranus).

What I want to say though, is that too much earth, can be very dampening for my fire and I WON`T HAVE THAT. On an everyday level especially.

So I am all for Earth in small portions. Or at least there needs to be something to balance it out. Fire especially. And Neptune and Pluto themselves.

If that is lacking, earth signs are still boring to me (no offense to all the earth signs - I am just talking in relation to me, so not a general statement, but a synastry thing).

my oh my, my moon is in the 12th too!!

the problem is (i guess) that I don't believe it to be about receiving what the other one lacks, not in love at any rate. like seriously i'm sitting all out there playing "schizophrenia" by sonic youth (for example) - and i don't want anyone to cook for me, i want them to sit the **** down next to me and feel the riffs and fall over to the dark side. and if they only pretend to or care about it because they want to monkey things that i do and copy my tastes - that's not an option either. you can't teach a person to have a dark side, for god's sake [did i just sense an idea for a short story?].

No, no, yes, you are right. It IS like the world is suddenly different. Or no maybe more like the world is the same, but you see it differently, you perceive it with more depth.

As a matter of fact my mom and me have begun to sense earthquakes in a few kilometres radius shortly before they are going to happen (only minor trembles of course). IT is strange, and my Dad is always rolling his eyes, when we talk about it, but when we both, indpenently felt that rumble in the earth, it always was the indicator of an earthquake to come. Not sure what to think of this though. lol

And when I say I lack or need to integrate Earth, I certianly don`t mean, someone who is going to cook for me or clean up my appartment (though it would need some cleaning as of now - but there are mor important things - something my Mom would disagree with btw. lol).

That sounds like a fabulous short story! Write it
I just find something/someone that's very different from me intriguing, but that's different for all I suppose. You can train yours in making dodgy potions while they are cooking in an alchemy stove
