What aspects in a synastry chart show why someone stays in your life for so long. For example, my mother and her best friend have been friends for almost 20 years. Both families have been through a lot together and yet we are still in each others lives. It's not just friendships either, what about those people who you don't get along with and yet they have been part of your life for years. For example, I have this person in my life who I have known for 21 years and although I can't stand them (I know that sounds harsh) they seem to be consistently apart of my life. On the other hand there are people who I absolutely adore and care about yet they are only in my life for a short amount of time. My grandparents were married for 51 years, my aunt and uncle have been married for over 25 years. What aspects in a synastry chart make people stay in your life for a long time possibly forever?

I have two very best friends.
V's mercury conjuncts my NN,I've known her for 8 years.
A's sun falls in my twelve.Her mars is conjunct my NN exact.We've been friends six years now.

In friendships, I've noticed Venus and Jupiter always have important aspects. Sometimes the Moon and Mercury make an appearance, sometimes the Sun, but they're not as consistent.

My best friend's Moon conjunct my DESC and my Natal Jupiter conjunct her Venus.
Her Mercury conjunct my Sun and NN.

^^^ S.E. sounds right there. The only person I've considered a lifelong friend is my brother and we have Venus conjunct Jupiter. You might say you can't count family but I'm not friends with many people, in fact, I let them go after awhile. Don't ask me why, I have no idea what's wrong with me.

As for my brother, I always look at him like he's the best person in the world. We understand and accept each other no matter the circumstance.

I've got two besties.

I've been friends with A for 16 years and J for 15 years.

With A my Moon conjuncts her ASC, her Sun conjuncts my MC and trines my Mars. Her IC conjunct my ASC and MC conjunct DSC and her Mercury conjuncts mine exactly.

With J, his NN and Jupiter conjunct my Venus while my Jupiter conjuncts his Mercury and trines his Moon/Pluto conjunction. His NN is trine my Saturn and his Sun conjuncts my Merc/Sun, with my Sun conjunct his ASC..

Of the two, I'm definitely closer to J, but they both mean the world to me and I love them for different reasons. J is my P.I.C. while A is my level headed guide who can pull my head out of the clouds when need be..which is kinda often
