Topic: 12th house neptune = depression?

Hey allI listened to Anne Orterlee's blogtalk radio this week and she was talking about neptune. So off I went to check where mine was,it is in 12th house (Sag) and I was like oh no! It explained lots of things, my high intution, sensitivities to the world and also perhaps the depression I had in 2011..scared me slightly. Has anyone else got 12th house neptune? I have a 12th house neptune in Capricorn. It has blessed me with great intuition, but so far I haven't suffered from depression. IP: Logged |

Pisces/Neptune rules the 12th house and functions best there unless challenged in aspect. IP: Logged |

If it was a period of depression, I'd look at transits or progressions or solar arcs or whatever else is in that area. If you are depressive by nature, then we might look at the natal chart.  IP: Logged |

I have this, and it conjuncts my chart ruler.
My intuition is unbelievable. A lot of experiences with astral projections. I lucid dream almost every night. And I am depressed with the '' the weight of the world on my shoulder'' attitude most of the time. Funny, the depression is enjoyable to me. I feel ALIVE when I'm hurt and depressed enough ... I like to inject my self with mental pain sometimes. I also love the feeling of crying SO HARD.

Well being in Sagittarius, I kinda find it hard to believe that that could be the source of depression, being that Sagittarius is naturally spirited and positive. I agree with you about the other things that it gives you, but as for a depressed period, it might have just been a hard transit or something affecting you.IP: Logged |

Hello  I think perhaps you are right regarding the depresson . I have cappie asc so perhaps I had transits (I have moon square saturn) and the depression was to do with the relationship with my mum. It has passed now. I have also found I can "cosmic order" really easily, for example last week I mentioned to a friend that I would like to visit Germany, a few days later, my work asked me to cover a colleague in a different team with a trip to Berlin! How amazing...
