My neptune is in the sixth so I don't think that has much to do with the land I come from. But,I was born in Germany and lived there for about ten years before moving to here.I'm going back to Germany for studies now.I only have pluto in the 4th but I don't know if that matters?IP: Logged |

Uranus near the IC with Neptune on the 9th. Sometimes Pluto in either the 3rd or 4th House can a create a feeling of alienation from societies/countries of birth. Saturn in 4th House can have hand in this too.A heavy emphasis ( specially on personal planets) of Sagittarius, Pisces or Aquarius in one's birth chart could also indicated a detachment towards the culture the native was born into. I have Pisces moon in the 9th. I feel the same way. Probably it's the neptunian influence. Haha. Also, it's intensified by t.Neptune in the 9th right now. IP: Logged |

Me too. That's why I'm trying to carefully plan my escape int Canada! I'm not even kidding... I wanted to go to Germany first but that was too difficult for me education wise, so I want to find a school in Canada and get my education there, and maybe even stay longer afterwards if possible. I'm not attached to my country at all. I have a peregrine Sun which always made me feel a little alien-like. The term basically translates into 'pilgrim' and I feel like I'm destined to make many journeys to find my true purpose in life. Also, I have a 9H Moon trine Neptune-Uranus conjunction. I feel like I connect better with people from foreign lands, like in pen palling, too. I just don't belong in the states! IP: Logged |

Hmmm. I'm the opposite (very attached to my city and to a lesser extent, my country), and I have a huge Aqua stellium. Perhaps Saturn in the 4th is the culprit.IP: Logged |

Sun conjunct IC aspect can make the native more concerned with his inner little world than his own nation and the entire word on a bigger scale.IP: Logged |

I am not really attached to my homeland. I have dominant 9th house (Moon-Uranus-Neptune) that begins in Sagittarius and empty 4th house, also my 4th house lord (Moon) is in the 9th house. IP: Logged |

Not really attached to my country either. I agree with CatMote.I have an empty 9th house that starts in Aquarius. Ruler of 9th is in the 6th. Nothing in my 4th either. I do have Sagittarius Mars, Aqua Venus, and Sun conjunct Neptune. IP: Logged |

Neptune is also in my 9th House but it's conjunct the Midheaven so it could be considered in the 10th. My 4th House ruler is in the 10th and I've noticed that I only travel when the Moon is high in my chart, in the 10th or 11th Houses. Uranus and Saturn are also conjunct in my 9th. My 9th House ruler is also in my 1st House. I am the only one in my family that has a passport, my MC/IC axis is in the 9th/3rd and I've read that the MC/IC axis (in equal house method) being in the 9th/3rd Houses can explain this. quote: If, for example, the MC/IC axis falls across the 9th/3rd houses, then our vocation may involve education, teaching, law, philosophy, travel, or any of the themes associated with these two houses. We might be the one person in the family, for example, who has gone to university, or who lives in another country or culture, or who adopts a different religion or philosophy from the rest of the family.
