What are dispositions? I mean I understand it but what about when there is no sole dispositioner? Can someone explain what they are and how dispositions in my chart affect me? IP: Logged |

Dispositors are a way to assess how important a planet is within a particular chart. You've got two ways of looking at it. One way is by SIGN (that's shown on the two left charts). The other way is by HOUSE (shown in the right two). The hierarchies (top charts) are easier to follow then the wheels (bottom ones), but both are showing the same things in different ways.Look at your top left SIGN HIERARCHY. It shows that Neptune is in the sign ruled by Uranus and Uranus is in its own sign. Think of it as Neptune visiting a foreign country that is ruled by Uranus. You've also got a chain of planets that eventually trace back to your Sun. This makes your Sun VERY important since it ultimately holds sway over a lot of your chart. Moon and Sun are "pointing at" each other. That is like two countries sending ambassadors to each other. Hope that helps a bit IP: Logged |

Dispositors are fun - so are mutual receptions, which is what your Sun and Moon are doing since they are in each other's sign.Any who, dispositors sort of add a slant. For example, your Mercury is in Leo, so wherever the Sun is will add some meaning to your Mercury, which in this case is Cancer. Does your Leo Mercury have some Cancer traits? It might make your Mercury more observant than the usual Leo Mercury, for example. Or perhaps your feelings are more sensitive than what Mercury in Leo would suggest on its own. This is just looking at one dispositor at a time. The chart you have shows the whole chain. That's good for knowing which planets have a lot of influence. It's like looking at what your chart boils down to, if anything. IP: Logged |
