Lately other signs have been morphed into feminine roles, like half of Gemini as a female counterpart, Pisces as a Mergirl and Aquarius, a FEMALE water bearer? I don't think so! Other signs get jealous! Gemini will always be two brothers in my mind, never a male and a female. It's the bond between twins, which is supposed to be very close. This is what Gemini represents. Pisces will always be a fish in the water, apart from the world of mammals. Pisces is about not connecting to the world, requiring a place of their own. Aquarius will always be a man carrying water, not a woman, symbolizing fecundity of the masculine mind to produce thoughts. It's because I am a Virgo sun. Virgos are the only females in the zodiac. All others are males or animals except Libra, so if you want female in your sign, move to Virgo. Virgo is the feminine mind. IP: Logged |

^Well...how old is Indian astrology? Mithuna, the equivalent of Gemini, was always represented as a man and woman in Indian astrology...I guess it depends on which practise you grew up/started with, Western or Indian. Gemini will always be genderless children to me. IP: Logged |

It didn't strike me as Gemini, it stroke me as sensual. Gems are many things but sensual is not the first that comes to mind. I maybe understand what you're saying, however it seems more Libra-ish to me than Gemini (yin/yang blending = libra) IP: Logged |

Genderless I can live with. I am a purest and believe Virgo as being the official feminine symbol. Gemini is more about a blending of two opposites. Virgo is the feminine alone. It's just lately I've noticed artists attempt at depicting the water bearer in particular as a woman. This kinda annoys me because I feel as if my sacred territory is getting intruded upon. edit: Zodiac purest, that is. IP: Logged |

I was not really asking the opinions of non gemini lmfao... Even if you grew up with believing something, it's kinda funny to me people are so closed minded new ideas...Having a stellium gemini I do feel the duality is that of male and female. I don't feel genderless as western astrology suggests. Strong urges of masculinity and femininity Where are all the mother gemini's at. Thou I do think others would be jealous of the concept of lovers because such a lovely symbol . IP: Logged |

Hahaha, you don't see me taking Virgo and trying to say she's twins And if I did you would feel like I am trying to take something from Gemini, give it to Virgo because I am jealous Gemini gets to be twins and Virgo does not. IP: Logged |

That's not the point, but whatever. I don't really feel the need to argue about this... Not really seeing the difference between two twins which is already an intimate relationship on it's own and a couple.IP: Logged |
