Great connection. I have venus in Scorpio and I find anyone with strong water placements to be interesting and attractive. There's more to synastry than venus signs though. You would need to post botch charts to get a detailed description. One planet and one aspect is not enough to determine a relationship. Also, the aspects might not be accurate if there is no birth time A conjunct has to do with degrees, not signs.

hmmm i don't really know how to compare myself but i have venus in pisces trine pluto in scorpio (in 8th too).

i feel like i'm a lot less forcefully or rather obviously intense, but i'm just as emotionally intense once you break into at least one layer of my heart. my feelings overwhelm me a good portion of the time and i really value anybody who feels about anything with a lot of passion. i've definitely been attracted to venus in scorpios but thus far the synastry hasn't been right, or rather it's felt like i understand them completely but they're not the right person for me.
