I’ve only received negative feedback for my walk. Back when I was in high school one of my teachers scolded me for slouching. A guy once made fun of me for walking like Charlie Chaplin. A girl also once mocked me for walking weird. I tend to wear heels because I still walk on my toes and flat shoes make me feel uncomfortable. I often look down when I walk. Last week when I was at the beach I was walking on this narrow wooden pathway and when people came at me I moved aside and walked on the sand. My father later told me not to do that because it was a sign of low self-confidence. Gemini Ascendant (Square Saturn, opposite Pluto)
Leo Mars (Square Sun/Moon/Venus/NN/Jupiter) I’ve noticed that Virgos are very fast walkers. I usually can’t keep up with them and have to tell them to slow down.

I'm a fast walker, too. With a destination.Leo AC, Capricorn Mars. I cannot stand it when slow walkers get in front of me. If they have some sort of disability or they can't help it, then I don't get as irritated...but you always have the groups of people who hog up the entire sidewalk and insist on looking at *everything* as they walk. I'm also slim, so I dart in and out between loitering, slow walkers and crowds. I generally don't make eye contact with people when I walk (this is a frigid city I live in, no one makes eye contact unless they're trying to pan handle or they're mentally unstable). The only people I actually make eye contact with and will stop for are homeless people/drug addicts/mentally ill people who are asking for money. Pisces sun and Aquarius Mercury make me slow down for a minute and either say "sorry, I don't have any change" and offer them a cigarette instead, or stop and give them a buck or something. I'm supersized and I don't dart in and out of crowds. I bulldoze. My arms swing. If you don't get out of the way, you will get shoulder charged and sucker punched by swinging fists, which are usually clenched when I'm stressed out, in which case I walk even faster. You don't make eye contact where I am. Do that, you'll start a fight and get killed.IP: Logged |

I walk upright, I've had women comment on my posture. As a child, I was scared to death when my mother told me that if you allow yourself to slouch all the time, your body will form that way and it will actually hurt to walk upright. Haha I walk depending on who is with me but if I am alone with something juicy to think about I walk extremely fast. I have been told that I always look like I've got work to get done, even in highschool haha. Though I am fairly fabulous at meandering if I'm just enjoying the scenery. IP: Logged |

When you guys walk down the street and you're walking directly towards somebody heading towards you, do you move out of their way or do they move out of yours? I remember reading this book and there was this tip to walk like you're a big gorilla? In other words, have presence and so when you're walking down the street, you wouldn't ever have to walk aside for anyone because they'll do it instead for you.So YTA, I don't bulldoze perse lol but I can walk in a straight line and not really divert my path. I noticed business men have a way of walking, like they're the sht and I like it! Confidence is sexy.

Obviously I'm half joking. But I deal with New York City. The streets have wide sidewalks and there is an orderly flow of pedestrian traffic. Sides are observed, and anyone trying to be salmon will literarily be mowed down. And then people will step on you and wouldn't think twice. The cops shoot first and then talk. They ticket jaywalkers. Yes, I walk with a "don't f with me attitude," and people in suits are often aggressive. You have no idea who's an attorney, and in today's litigious society, people in NYC sue for the darnest reasons. You don't know who's a mobster either. Blue suit may mean many things. In the end, I'm an aggressive individual and people clear the path, even hoods. Do you think Trump ever steps to the side to let someone pass?IP: Logged |

Bahahaha! Seattle and New York are like the extreme opposites of the spectrum, apparently.Everyone here is so uber polite, but completely cold at the same time (for the most part). Most people move out of each other's ways (if they live here), but if you accidentally bump into someone, it's a mumbled "excuse me" or nothing, and an awkward moment of trying to get around each other. But I love it here (although we live outside of the city now, so I'm not walking as much as I am driving, unfortunately). I've noticed that I drive very much the way that I walk. Don't get in the "fast lane" if you're only going to drive the speed limit, and don't ride my *ss.

How are you?" while they were staring at me with shocked expressions for even acknowledging them. Haha, I have a problem with slow walkers, too. I walk very uber quickly and just about everyone is slower. I feel bad because I can sense they think I'm rude when I get behind them and darting to the side, whisk by as briskly as I possibly can. I don't want to appear like I am about to run them over. Probably have a peevish look on my face without realizing it, too. I'm almost always in a hurry when I am looking for something in particular when I go shopping and am not sure if the store is out of it. It's irrational, but it's like all of them will disappear in five minutes if I don't rush as fast as I can to where they are. I have three planets on my ascendant. My friend with Pisces moon/Aqua ascendant used to call me "the ant" when we went shopping for clothes. I would walk into the store, then start walking very fast like an ant and the way the displays were laid out, reminded her so much of an ant going from display to display. She always wanted to stop and look thoroughly. I would look at one item, not be interested and quickly move to the next display IP: Logged |

I really hate it when my sister is my walking companion. She walks like a turtle! Sooo slow! Haha. I can't blame her though, her legs are way shorter than mine and therefore, she naturally has shorter strides. But then I get so annoyed that she gets left behind when we walk and so I have to drag her along. haha. My sister has a Libra asc, Scorpio mars. IP: Logged |

^^Hahaha.If I have to do something downtown, I'm usually by myself or with someone who also walks fast. If I'm with my mom, I have to force myself to be patient while she meanders and tries to figure out where she's at. I mean, she's not THAT old...! (Not to sound mean towards my mom, but really...she's just used to living out in the country.) But when I'm shopping... Oh gawd, I'm one of *those* shoppers. I used to work retail, and I couldn't stand it when people would loiter around 30 minutes before the store was closing, hemming and hawing about what they were going to buy. And here I am, the Dreaded Loitering Shopper. Unless I know exactly what I'm there to buy, and then it's usually quick an painless. But I still show up about 30 minutes before they're going to close.
