Very new to Solar Arc stuff. I've got SA Uranus exact conjunct my ASC (Uranus is ruler of my 5th house). At the same time I've got SA Pluto changing signs to Scorpio and trine my natal Mars (Mars rules my 7th house); SA N.Node is 1 degree behind Pluto and SA S.Node is conjunct Progressed Venus (Venus rules my ASC and 8th). There is also SA Mars applying 1 degree from my natal Uranus, so once again involves rulers of 5th and 7th houses.

It seems there is a theme of 1st, 5th, and 7th houses. Is this significant for the sudden start of a romantic partnership? Or am I just reading into this because I'm still really new to learning about SA and progressions?

(I've also got progressed Juno crossing into my 5th house BUT SA Juno is crossing into my 6th.)

Astro.com extended selection under progressions. Choose "Natal, Progressions and Solar Arc Combined".

Thanks

I've got SA moon conjunct N MC. Solar Arc stuff moves quicker than Progressions. Already forgot what SOL is. My SOL ascendant is in Gemini, MC is in Aqua. Solar Arc MC is in my fifth house as well. Interesting stuff. And strangely, some of my Solar Arc planets, like Venus and Jupiter are packed into my 2nd house. Stelliums are a major life theme. Maybe I am the one who needs to play the lottery?

It could be a new relationship but you will never know because Uranus is so tricky. Maybe you got many short relationship or one special or no one. When Uranus involved Im always surprised and cant expect nothing or everything...

Whatever will happend you will change, evolve and grow your life completely...

Only the dynamic aspects are being used with solar arcs (conjunction, opposition, square, sometimes the quindecile, if you are of the Noel Tyl-school of thought).

I have had SA URanus conjunct natal ASC from summer 2009-2010 (orb is 30 minutes, which is approximately half a year; so half a year applying, half a year separating; though some allow 40 minutes applying and 20 minutes separating)

At that same time my sa and pr Sun (they are always the same) had just progressed to 1 Aquarius (!) being squared by natal URanus on 1 Scorpio.

Transiting NN was conjunct my SA Sun and squrae natal Uranus (it was on 00 Aquarius in july 2009)

Transiting Uranus was in my 3rd house (uranus rules the 3rd house in my chart) and squaring the natal Sun-Mercury-conjunction by 1 degree.

A lot of Sun-Uranus as you can see, along with the sa Uranus on my natal ASC.
Sun and Uranus rule my 3rd and 9th house natlly, and Sun is placed in 1st house and Uranus sits on the very cusp of 11th house.

What did happen?

You wanna try a guess? I will tel you if you are close.

All right, I'll give this a try, teacher. But must you always assign homework?

Sudden rapid communication over the internet with a variety of on-line friends and acquaintances from around the world? A change in the way you express/present yourself? Am I on the right track here?

You are on the right track, yes,

But think a little more literally: 3rd house - 9th house.

What do they have in common except for communication of course?
Even medieval astrology applies here

And yes, I always assign homework.

EDIT:
Can you think of EVENTS that might have happened?

You were doing great btw, I just want to know how much details you can pick up on.

Okay, time to look at the leaves, not the forest.

Did you publish something you wrote? Both houses also deal with education, so perhaps a change in what/who (ages) you teach or a sudden change in the curriculum?

Hmmm. Something weird, sudden, unexpected. I don't know if I'd include lost luggage as "unexpected". I hope you didn't have an accident. Oh! Maybe you were traveling in a foreign country and you unexpectedly encountered a neighbor? That would qualify as weird!

Story is this:

I was having a good friend, I only knew from email. We`ve never met in all the years we communicated. Which at hat time was about 5-6 years.

Secondly Jude law was returning to stage for "Hamlet".

So both of us agreed we would travel to London, meet there and see the performance (well two performances actually).

Luck had it that we actually got tickets (though when it comes to Mr Law on stage, I seem to luck out most of the time; I donīt know how but we even got tickets in 2011, and that was a CHAOS and practically impossible. lol)

Anyway, me travelling to London on my own?
I was SCARED.

Also meeting a person, I knew from email - sure, but still, you know how it is with these things.

I got really really insecure before not knowing if I should really see it through.
I asked my brother and his girlfriend to come along, and they agreed, but then had to cancel as it clashed with their studying.

Anyway, I thought, ok, my friend knows her way in London, so I will be okay. I will have to hardly speak English (I am VERY insecure in speaking English especially to English people. lol), I will not have to take responsibility for anything. She will know what to do.

In the week before our travel, she had to cancel due to health and financial reasons.

There I was. Every kind of safety net simply falling away under my feet.

NEVERTHELESS I decided to see it through (I mean London is not somewhere in the jungle, right?).

Okay, so I made it over there (took the train naturally,c ause I have fear of flying), and then in the hotel, something was off with my credit card!

I PANICKED. Because that meant I would have no hotel there, and remember I was on my own, noone I could ask to lend me the money. What to do?
Their machine wouldn`t read my credit card.

I did three things.
1. Take a walk.
2. Decide to stay at least for the one day and see the performance, even if I had to lodge under a bridge and get on the next train home the next day (Luckily I had a little cash with me, but not enough for the stay I had booked of course).
3. Call my Dad. lol

Well, my Dad was trying to get money to the hotel to help me out, but for some reason it did not work EITHER!

Anyway after one or two hours of immense panick and chaos, it turned out nothing was wrong with my credit card at all! They just had to type in the numbers manually (happens with German and Austrian credit cards sometimes as I learned back then).

They upgraded my room for the invonvenience I`ve had encountered, which was nice, but I had to give back the room the other day, cause it was below the ground, and I felt like being buried alive (I think I actually was in a past life, so that would explain why I need to be above ground all the time).

So, that was one thing, then the other thing was, while I managed to squeeze myself into the narrow theatre seats the first evening, there was no squeezing into it the second night, it was even more narrow than the seat I had the other night and no way to get all of me into it.
And yes I was embarassed and feeling ashamed. I didn`t know this was still in me, actually. lol

Anyway usually I would have simply left, died of embarassment and never told any soul about it. I donīt know why, but I was telling someone from the staff about it, and instead of the anticipated: It`s not our fault you are that fat!

They actually were getting the manager of the theatre, who then decided that I was allowed to stand in the back (below the light, signaling the emergency exit. lol) for the performance, which I did.

Mr Law (and some other actors) seemed a little bit "surprised" or distracted in their first scene bny that, cause there just wasn`t anybody supposed to stand in the back.

Well, end of story is that I have been forced to talk to so many people in English, that it is just nuts to still be afraid of it. LOL (though I will be again end of the year, but it gets better and takes less time to go beyond that initial blockage).

And yeah, so I know, strong Uranus?
Crazy things happen.

When Tr Uranus was conjunct my Moon, I had my first weekend trip (on my own, to meet people from an internet forum) to Paris. I was scared, too, back then.
When I arrived, they had forgotten to book my hotel room; another girl I had been in email contact with, nicely offered me to share her double room with her.
And no she wasn`t an axemurderer, like my mom feared. LOL

Anyway Uranus solar arc or transit?
At least for me it seems I am plunged into the craziest situations, and it is pretty hard to NOT being pushed into the centre of attention, for some reason.
Awkward it was, I can tell you!
But in backview, it wsa also funny.

Not this time.

Though you are nto totally off either.

The bizarre meeting with him had an Uranian signature as well:

SA Sun was on 29.59 Capricorn, just on the verge of changing into Aquarius being squared by natal Uranus of course.

SA Moon on 21 Pisces was conjuncted by transiting Uranus on 22 Pisces (somewhere close his ASC)

SA Uranus was conjunct my natal Mars.

sp Venus and Mercury in Aquarius conjunct sp AVX and my natal Moon

sp Moon conjunct my 5th house cusp and opposing natal Uranus.

tertiary progression (for this month and day only):

tp ASC on 24 Pisces (conjunct SA Moon and Transit Uranus)

tp Venus on 22 Aquarius conjunct transiting nodal axis, which was applying to the sp Mercury-Venus and my Moon as well.

and my tp MC this very night was exactly conjunct his natal Sun, Moon, MC - no way the meeting could have NOT taken place THAT night.

Well there was even more going on including a Tr Jupiter on my Sun/Moon-mp and Tr Juno conjunct his Sun/Moon-mp, plus my pr Psyche conjunct his natal Eros and much more.

But yes it was Uranian,t oo, but more so in terms of MOon, Venus, Mars. which makes sense I guess.

Uranus is still having it's way -- I'm SHOCKED at your insecurity with English! You are so fluent in your writing, I'd never have guessed. The whole adventure certainly sounds very Uranian. So I guess the "moral of this story" is to "expect the unexpected".

Well, I certainly DID something unexpected recently. Last Wednesday, I mailed a certified letter to "Bunny's" mother at the company he started in 2011 since she's listed as managing agent. (Hey, most guys need to call their moms to find out their time of birth anyway, right?) I wonder what Uranus is doing in HER chart!

I just looked through my database, and found an amazing coincidence.

The day my sister got married, she had SO Uranus opposite her ASC. I thought - ok, what is going on in her husbands chart? And to my huge surprise, here that was - his SO Uranus was conjunct his ASC.

What houses were ruled by Uranus in each of their charts?

Aquarius is intercepted in 2nd house of her husband - it doesn't really rule anything. However, Uranus is ruler of his Venus, which is his 5th ruler.

Aquarius in her chart is MC. Also her Moon is in Aquarius.

In their composite their Sun and Mercury are Aquarius.
