I’m bored too, can’t understand vedic, maybe I should join a vedic forum. Are you a manglik lulz?

i joined lightonvedicastrology. my username there is sand. i thought oh damn so many replies someone is sure to answer. NO!

haha that is funny! i actually do not know! do u know how to tell? it's like one of those astro beginner questions! like in western it's "Who is the venus person?" when you are starting out with synastry!

the guy hasn't responded yet btw. i wonder how much he charges. my reader is about $130.

Nope I don’t know, I’ve read that they are only supposed to marry other mangliks otherwise it fails or some siht happens to the person they marry. There is a feature in astrosage to determine whether you’re a manglik or not.

Vedic is confusing, I thought western and vedic would be similar.

It's a bit more complicated. The rasi of both bride and groom is taken into account. They believe if the moon rasi is inimical to each other the marriage is doomed. See Vedic puts a lot of stress on the longevity of the marriage rather than on love and blah blah, also a lot of stress on the fertility of the couple. However, if you want to study Vedic, the Vedic forums is a good place to start learning however I would advise you to start with the moon signs compatibility and also the order of the nakshatras. I believe the nakshatra of the guy should come first..rules like that still stands good, otherwise the girl will rule haha

Avoiding one eyed people you mean?? nahhh that's BS.

Depends on what remedies you are talking about. There is something you need to understand, you need to be able to discriminate between 'acts of penance' and BS remedies. This is my take. I do have a different approach with Vedic, basically that's why I do not frequent the Vedic forums and I do not call myself a Vedic astrologer!

there's a girl on youtube that shows how a chart is made. someone linked it here. it's the same principle i think. at least the one that looks like blueprints of a thai house. u know 1 big courtyard in the middle and the dining, sleeping, etc surrounding it.

purple star/ zi wei dou shou is similar to western in the chinese version.
http://www.freehoro.net/ZWDS_EN/

i learned how to do this manually way back but i forgot now.

'manglik people should marry manglik people'

got to be the first rule of Vedic 'synastry' because they believe the woman can 'kill' the hubby.

Now, decide for yourself if that is sound reasoning

I'm manglik BTW. 8th house Mars in Leo. Although Vedic says that a woman with a 8th house Mars is BOUND to become powerful in her life, but if she marries a non-manglik person will likely become a widow.

okay a few rules on the top of my head.Folks you can search on it on the net, just a few pointers.

1 - The ASCs should be in positions 1st,7th,3rd,11th,5th and 9th to each other. If they are 2nd,12th,4th,10th,6th,8th to each other, there is likely to be strife between the couple except if the lords of the asc are mutually receptive AND friends with each other.

2 - If the lords of the ASC mutually aspect each other in the 5th and 9th positions, and in the 3rd and 11th positions. They will probably be in good terms throughout the married life. (lol, even if they decide to get a divorce)

3 - Now the moon signs of the guy and the girl should be in positions 3rd,11th, 5th and 9th from each other. They should not be in 1st,7th,4th,10th,6th and 8th from each other.

4 - Again the lords of the moon signs should be mutually receptive or in friendly signs, 3rd,11th,5th and 9th

5- The general karakas for marriage for a guy is moon and venus while for the girls it is sun and mars. They are the natural karakas,so preferably they should be mutually receptive and in friendly signs. This denotes sexual compatibility, and passion. Again they should be in the 5th and 9th,3rd and 11th for the moon ( for the guy) and the sun ( for the girl). The venus of the guy and the mars of the girl should be 1st,7th,3rd,11th,5th and 9th from each other to indicate sexual compatibility.

Just a few pointers

HOWEVER if both the girl's and the boy's ascendant lords/moon signs for the guy,sun sign for the girl's- are Saturn or belong to a nakshatra ruled by Saturn. They are, through this aspect alone, very compatible.

Well that is one my rules lol.

The person is Manglik
The person is Manglik and since Mars is positioned in the 1st house, it indicates mild Manglik Dosha

@lulz, Lol, I'm okay with conyo. I have a group of friends who are all from abroad. They speak English all the time haha

San Juan? I don't think I'll be venturing there haha. I'll be stuck within the vicinity of the Manila Hotel hahahaha Thanks for the recommendation anyways. I'll be sure to find it whenever I can drop by to those places haha.

Come to think of it, I've never heard of an astrologer around my region. I'll try to research about it and see what I can find haha

--

EDIT: Entered the wrong birth time I'm not a Manglik hahaha.

@Jess, thanks for the pointers! I'll be sure to keep them in mind.
