Topic: Do Aries men have a conscious?

I just removed myself from a very intensely passionate and sad affair with an Aries man, and I am having a hard time grasping what was truth and what was a lie. We met two months ago. Two make a long story short after a month, of hanging out and seeing each other usually twice a week and talking, texting, and cyber chatting incessantly we had sex... and maybe a week or so after that his interest took a complete nose dive. I stopped making contact once I realized he was not reciprocating like he used to and so for ten days there was nothing. Then he texts me out of the blue, "Can you forgive me?". In that moment I told him I didn't know and that he had really hurt. A couple days later I told him that I could forgive him, but forgetting was the hard part. His response was that he "just got caught up in a situation". I ask him what the situation is and, he tells me that he had met someone a week before he met me, and him and her were just kicking it "real close"... smdh... but he still likes me. I respond by telling him it's obvious that he likes everybody and I can't be a part of his bs, so I'm removing myself from the situation. He is shocked. A couple days later though I do text him, he had been on my mind heavy. He tells me again that he still likes me (like that matters)... We've texted since then and he has said the same thing, but he not acted of his even when I called him on it. Yesterday, I checked his Instagram and lo and behold on the video he posted 3 days ago you can clearly hear a chick talking to him in the background. She asks him," What's wrong with you this morning?" That is NOT his sister!!! lol... I am done with him, but thoughts of him consume me, and pain me at the same time. Last night, I texted him and asked him to delete the personal pics I sent to his phone in a very cordial way. His reply was "ok". I am done with him, but I am hurt beyond measure. I am now reading all these things about Aries men getting bored once they perceive the chase to be over, saying things they don't mean (LIES), and ultimately "playing" women. I haven't experienced anything like this since I was very young, and I feel so devalued, as if I meant nothing to him. I'm hurting big time. I know that he has done this before, and he mentioned once that "sex just messes things up." I wish I would've asked of him what he truly meant. My question is do Aries men who happen to have these characteristics ever realize that their impulses are wrong and extremely hurtful. Does their conscious ever get in the way of them devastating people who have invested their time in them? IP: Logged |

Aries is just his sun sign. There is much more to someone's "natal" or birth chart than their sun sign. The situation you were in with him actually sounds more like moon sign issues to me, or house placements.Knowing someone's sun sign *will* help -- you will have a better idea of their basic vibes, I guess, and where their energy is, or where they get their energy from. The sun represents the ego, and that certainly is a factor. But to get a better picture of who someone is, you need their full chart. And for that, you need their birth place, birth date and birth time. If you can find those, we can tell you or show you how to get a full birth chart for the guy, and how to begin interpreting it. Please keep this in mind: people are complicated, and even a complete birth chart won't show you exactly who someone is, where they are coming from, what their beliefs and attitudes are, and what they might do in the future. Everyone is different. Astrology can give you some insights. Just try to avoid stereotyping by thinking or saying, "this person is an Aries, and all Aries ____". For every example you can find, there is probably a member on this forum that has the same sign or placement, yet offers a perfect counter-example to the behavior you are asking about. The explanation for those differences is usually somewhere else in the person's chart. We normally address questions like this in the section for Personal Readings; if you find his birth info, you can post it there and ask for help getting a chart, and for help reading the chart. What is your sign?In my experience with aries sun gemini moon, they are very much on their own agenda. Obviously a lot also has to do with their level on maturity, in my opinion anyway. I find that they don't mean any harm. But they do what they want, and if it harms someone they kind of dismiss it because it goes against what the believe- and that is usually their complete freedom. Same with lies, they are very straight with people about their true feelings on what matters- but if they see a lie as not what they consider 'important' they have no trouble telling it. It is fair to say it is selfish, but really I don't think the intent is there. I love aries, they are great, but it is really hard on a romantic level- they don't play along with ideals. IP: Logged |

My sun is in Aquarius, Venus in Pisces, and Moon in Aries... What you've said makes a lot of sense to me in hindsight. He did say the second time he apologized to me that his intent had not been to hurt me, but if you go awol on someone that you have been spending a great deal of time with.
