I have pluto in the 8th house and ever since I was a little kid I always felt like adults and kids would sort of notice something about me and start probing. I notice this when I go to see my relatives..my aunts, uncles, grandparents will pay excessive attention to my and try to pick my mind. I have 9 siblings but I am the only one who got this treatment. Even my uncle called my mom from germany and only specifically asked about ME. Its very strange. I feel like if I am quiet people think I am hiding something or that they can pounce on me because I keep things to myself. Its like they are very uncomfortable. I do hold a lot of the family secrets and they sense this about me. I know things even my dad doesn't know..like the fact that his oldest brother actually does not have the same father....I feel like I get extreme reactions from people...they become very intimidated, or they see me as a threat, pick on me, try to get inside my head, etc....any pluto in the 8th people here? This topic has come up for me today because I have to go see relatives today and am feeling the usual anxiety.

Pluto in the 8th...

What you're dealing with is basically Scorpio energy in the land of hidden shadows and unspoken psychological truths. Tip toe lightly as others glance and stare but the energy you get is very real and tangible only to yourself and those you let in.

But in reality, they're not necessarily probing 'you'; their reaction is an instinctual need to protect themselves from what they perceive to be your intense and penetrating insight to their own unspoken truths. So they send out red herrings, they make you feel like you're the outsider, they change the topic of conversation, anything to stop you from doing what you do naturally.

As you get older, you'll learn to handle it better and as they learn that regardless of your understanding, you're not going to spill out all their secrets, their insecurities and their lies; they'll start to leave you alone, or tither hither with polite conversation, or if they are brave enough, dive in deeply with you about the emotional trauma and baggage, that only someone like you can help them alleviate because you don't just hear them - you travel side by side into the murky depths of the valley and emerge victorious on the other side.

Thank you..you say it so beautifully. You must be a writer lol. Yes, I feel that I force them to confront truths, sort of like a mirror. People don't like looking into a mirror when they are not ready though..so its difficult.
