What could make people dislike a certain person? And when I talk about people I mean like, going to a restaurant for example and the waiter disliking you just like that or something like that. Do you think there are aspects that make a person disliked or does it depend on the synastry?------------------ I am stuck in a daydream IP: Logged |

I think it does depend on synastry, maybe ASC-MC square to the other person's personal planets? But maybe it also has to do with the individual's natal chart. I remember I had created a topic about Justin Bieber, and his ASC was conjunct Pluto. Members here had said that it is an aspect that creates either love or hate for the person. Actually I know a person that has this aspect in their natal, and it's pretty much like this people either like him or think he is completely stupid. IP: Logged |

I was wondering because I have a friend who is actually a VERY good girl but people don't seem to like her if they don't get to know her and I wonder why all the time IP: Logged |

It may just be jealousy or an unconscious reaction, when you see your "shadow" side in someone (projection).I'd say it's a 7th / 12th house thing in synastry. IP: Logged |

Doux can you explain this reasoning. I have seen you talk about the house axis but I have never thought this way. How does it work? Thanks!

Genuine questionIs there an Asc that could cause this? Or maybe an Asc/Sun combination? IP: Logged |

Prolly not to all people. We each have our likes and dislikes. That would be my thought, anyway. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ami,Here's how I see it: We identify with your ASC, that's who we are, the qualities we associate ourselves with and the traits we have. The 7th house, by opposition, is the exact opposite! We don't naturally have those qualities, we may find it hard to express the sign on the DSC. Because of this, we are attracted to people who possess those traits - they have something we lack, and (on an unconscious or conscious level) we feel like they can "complete" us, give us what we lack and possibly exactly what we need. But there's another side to the 7th house - that of enmity. Basically what happens is that we can sense the other person has something we lack, but we may resent them for it. We may feel like they're completely different from us, but not in a good way. It's like "Oh look at what he did! I'd never do that!" - imagine a Libra rising saying that after he saw an Aries bluntly attack someone's point of view, for example. And I think all this process can happen on a subconscious level - you pick up on that person's vibe and are instantly repulsed (or attracted) to them. The 12th house is the house of the qualities we suppress / repress. It's all the stuff we can't really express openly. So when someone else comes along, and they can express those qualities, again - we may feel fascinated by them, or intimidated or even "scared" of them. It's much more sublte than the 7th house though, it's kinda blurry, you can't quite put your finger on it - you like / dislike that particular person but don't know why! And that's why there's often so much mistrust / suspicion with 12th house synastry - you can't see that person clearly, a part of them is "alien" to you. Hope this makes sense! IP: Logged |

I do not think ASC squares to personal planets cause dislike. I have my Mercury and Venus square a guys ASC, he likes me. I'm not his usual type, but he likes me nevertheless. Another one has his Venus exactly square my ASC, i like him, he's my friend. That's not that. IP: Logged |

I will say one aspect which could cause universal dislike. If you see a M-U-C-H-O annoying person, that person may have Eris conjunct the ASC or NN. Secondarily, they may have Eris conjunct the Sun or Moon. Eris is "I am going to rip your face off" annoying ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. ^ I've never checked Eris in people's charts.. But I will now! I'll tell you if I find something interesting. Hmm can't think of someone who's annoying at the top of my head.. If only we had Fleurdelis's chart! LOL. IP: Logged |

I had a really funny Eris story with someone on here who is no longer here.I can pick up Eris on here very well. Well, I called it for this person and sure enough it was conjunct her Moon. She tried to get back at me by telling me I had do-do conjunct the ASC. I thought do-do was real but she made it up ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Oh wow, I've just checked out a guy's chart who I'd consider quite annoying in a childish, hyper way - he has Aries Moon conjunct Eris! lol.But I've noticed Eris stays in the same sign for ages, it's weird! It's always in Aries.. Oh wait, my mother has Moon conjunct Eris too. Okay this is getting weird, I don't know how I should feel about this! ETA: Maybe it's just an Aries trait? Fleur said she has tons of Aries, too. IP: Logged |

Interesting about Eris staying in the same place. I didn't know that. It would become personal when it conjuncts angles the NN or personal planets, even if it doesn't move, I guess. You have to remember that asteroids have a very small orb, so Eris would not impact all Aries people. I really would not go beyond 2 degrees for a conjunction. It would be even less for another aspect, so you can still see that the universe of Eris people is small ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Haha, yeah! The orb for the two people is 2°, so quite tight. Hmm. I'll have to look into it more. You may be onto something. IP: Logged |
