Would a really bad (i.e., potentially abusive) synastry or composite chart make you change your mind about going forward and starting a relationship with someone? Would you even factor it in when you're undecided about someone? Lately I've been really interested in looking up the synastry charts of murderers and their victims (who are also romantically involved) to see if there are aspects that would point to the tragic outcome between each couple. I just read about a guy who stabbed his girlfriend to death. And this is their synastry (the inside is the victim):  Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Mars / Saturn, Uranus, Pluto / Venus.
Nessus could be square Pluto or Mars (can't see the orbs).
There are some indicators, for sure, but there are plenty of other people who have similar configurations in their charts and things aren't that drastic.So my answer is no, I wouldn't change my mind if I really liked the person.
I'm not the kind of person to make decisions based on charts, although I would definitely be cautious and pay attention to any red flags.
And I'm not afraid of someone abusing me because I am positive I'll be able to get out before things get serious.

I agree. I don't think charts can predict the future, but I believe they can give clues about how someone is. It's interesting that the murderer's NN is conjunct his Chaos, which are both conjunct the victim's Chiron. I'm just wondering if stuff like that are just coincidences. BTW, the guy has a history of domestic violence. So, there WAS a huge red flag not related to astrology. IP: Logged |

Asteroids can be quite revealing, but I don't pay much attention to them, to be honest.And there are usually signs of abusive behaviour early on. IP: Logged |

Mars conjunct Pluto in Libra for the violence, Venus in Scorpio for the intense feelings and Moon conjunct Uranus in Scorpio for erratic, intense and unpredictable emotional outbursts and occasional amorality.
Neptune square Sun for the addiction to alcohol / woe is me syndrome.Makes sense but surely not everyone born on that day turned out to be an abusive person.
