I have a friend that recently met a guy who has his Saturn in her 4th house. Later i remembered that my father and sister have their saturn in scorpio in my 4th house, and my mother her saturn in capricorn in my 5th house. I read about Saturn in 4th/5th house synastry and I was a little freaked out because they said that it brings restrictions. I also have my Saturn in my 4th house (Sagittarius in a close conjunction to the Moon). How does this house overlay manifest itself in family vs. romantic relationships.
Did you have any experience with this in synastry?

Saturn in any house brings restriction and some hard lessons to learn.
The 4th is no exception.

There are challenges, but at the same time, they make one more mature and wiser.

I think Saturn in someone's 4th house may awaken their childhood wounds and maybe issues related to their sense of belonging (to a family, a country, "humanity", whatever).
