lol, well... as an Aqua Sun (and Moon and Mercury) this really doesn't describe me very much. Hardcore? Not really, just don't be a shrinking violet. I prefer that mysterious look. Tattoos? depends on the designs, but yeah, I dig them. Piercings? Other than ears, not really. I don't think a person's look is going to indicate how much freedom they allow you as much as their behavior. As far as "needing" space... it usually appears as a "need" by those who tend to "suffocate" others or "demand" lots of attention.

They like my social 'image'.. but they don't like me on a personal level and they get very aggravated by it. They act as though I am intentionally behaving a certain way to play games with them or to tick them off (when I am really just being myself).

I second that! I'm an Aquarius Sun/Mercury. It's not about tattoos and piercings (my generation didn't do that sort of thing anyway), but I DO tend to appreciate someone who looks unique, like they're their own person, secure in themselves and with no need to "follow the crowd". That's the MODERN ruler (Uranus) of Aquarius at work. But the traditional ruler (Saturn) means I want someone who'll be completely loyal/faithful/committed and still respect my need for some personal freedom to pursue my own interests, etc. In return, I'd give the same: freedom with faithfulness.
