This may be a stupid question but I really don't know where else to put this...

How do you know when your progressed sun will conjunct your natal venus?

How can you time this down?

I'm still waiting for a real relationship, I know for most people it happens when the progressed sun conjuncts natal venus...

How do you know how long you have to wait for this aspect to happen in your natal and progressed charts?

How do you know if it has already happened?

I'm beginning to lose all hope here, I want a real relationship with sex and all

Sun progresses about 1 degree per year. So the distance in degrees between your Sun and Venus is the age when it will happen.

Mine is 35 ugh. (Sun 13 Aries, Venus 18 Taurus)

OH OK hmmmmmmmmmmmm

My progressed Venus is just a little bit ahead of where my natal sun is on the chart...

Does that mean I already had it happen?

Just go to astro.com and draw a chart with your progressions.
That'll give you an idea of how far pSun and pVenus are from each other.

It depends.. Sun's speed is approximately 1 degree.. sometimes faster, sometimes slower. I gave you the fast, not so precise method. If you want to know exactly where your progressed planets are, do as Doux suggested and draw your progressed (+/- natal) chart.

Okay I am still confused because Venus goes retrograde sometimes so this messes things up

Ahh well you compare the progressed position to the natal.

Progressed to progressed is good too, but the 1st one is better.

DSC ruler in applying aspect to something could work.
Or Venus or Mars, I guess.

Yup that's what I was looking at progressed to natal...

Progressed Sun is ahead of natal Venus by 14 or 11 dashes...
This means that it must have happened when I was still very young...so it doesn't make any sense
Maybe something is off

You're having P-Sun conj Uranus as we speak. That can bring a sudden, unexpected, unorthodox relationship, though it probably affects your career more than anything since Sun rules prog-MC.

You're also having p-Venus conj Saturn, perhaps it is guilty for your feelings of loneliness and wanting a stable relationship a lot. I think you might have a very fated relationship in a few years when p-Venus conjuncts NN.

Prog-Asc is about to square the Node axis, that might also bring some romantic encounters, given that DC is also on that axis.

AHAHAHA HERA "Unorthodox" is such a good way to put it. That is exactly the type of relationship I had in mind...
I always have issues using that word because it makes me feel like I'm putting labels on relationships but unorthodox is exactly what I have in mind...
Its like the word commitment...
I couldn't use the word commitment up until yesterday when I sat down with myself and asked myself what it is I am looking for in a relationship...I blinked my eyes and said "I want commitment, it's what I have been looking for! That's it!"

Yeah, that's pVenus conj Saturn talking. Sun-Uranus hates being tied down. So you're gonna vacillate between these two for a few more months.
