This year, if I had the figure (I might be able to obtain it, if I can follow the Tracy Anderson method without putting myself in the hospital), then the easiest thing would be to go as one of the Robert Palmer girls in the video, "Addicted to Love." I doubt the younger folks would know who I was, though. I have the dark hair, dark eyes, cheekbones, and could have the figure once again. All I'd need would be a black dress, heels, red lips, and a borrowed guitar.

I went to a 1980's themed Halloween party a couple of years ago, and the grand prize winner of the costume contest was one of the "Addicted to Love" girls. It was such a simple costume, and she used a Guitar Hero guitar instead of a real one. She won several hundred bucks. I think there was some favoritism at play, since so many other people put a lot more time and effort into their costumes. I have to admit, I was envious of her brilliantly simple idea. It certainly paid off for her. It would also be a good costume idea for a group of people. One lead singer, with the matching backup girls.

I think the Pedobear is a bit too generic. I will choose something more original or different

How is it generic except for those Internet freakos. You can ask the old lady down the street if she will recognize that pedobear. Most people won't but they will recognize Mickey Mouse.

I like the image of Gromery Governess of Love rite now. She has light green hair nobody will recognize her although she doesn't look anywhere gothic. So I might go as her.

It is ok I'm sorry was just teasing for fun. I mean that pedobear is not a good costume also, they might end up in the county jail. Not a good end to the pumpkin festival

Yup if a young cop sees you it will be the end of you then. Not something I wish upon anyone either...

That teddy bear in your link above looks a bit scruffy, does it happen to be from Ted the movie by any chance?

Some day I might go like this

http://www.clothlands.com/images/clm11/14192.jpg

As a matter of fact I am looking for some ballgown for New Year`s eve. I was thinking maybe about something in Victorian style, but am not sure.

(I donīt know why but since I can remember, I have been utterly fascinated with the princess style of the Victoran age )

@Pixie: Pippi is da bomb. I related to her as a kid cause I also drank coffee, cussed, and liked counting my money. haha
Yes I love w/in temptation. Her voice is so pretty! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3yRv2G6OL4

@Kerosene: Speaking of slutty costumes I was Ke$ha for Halloween party 2 years ago. I bought the craziest blonde wig they had at a Halloween store (the blonde 80's rocker wig) and then I just put on clothes I had at home like a mini skirt, fish net tights, a sparkly one strap tank, and lots of big tacky jewelry, made my lips blue, and bought a bottle of jack as an accessory. Lots of people did not recognize me cause I took of my glasses and I'm a brunette.

@I'm so cappy: The ninja costume makes me want to be Orchid from killer instinct

As a 12th house sun person, I of course have a nun costume. Wore one to work last Halloween and people are still calling me "Sister Cathy." Kept telling me how the costume suited me.

As a Leo rising person, would love to try a Novice Hayme costume from the "New Earth" episode of DOCTOR WHO. She's a nurse-cat-nun. !!

Libra Sun and Leo Asc.

I usually end up choosing a costume that has some form of elegance yet mysterious approach to it . My fav. costume out of all the ones I have worn has to be the Vampire one (No, not Twilight Edward Cullen Vampire; A PROPER Vampire.)

Me during Halloween at 2011:

I have also gone as Eric from the Phantom of the Opera, A Ninja, and the list goes on .

X,

Do you ever smile in pictures? You're so serious all the time! But you seem like such a fun person though. Why don't you smile??
