Hello again folks! I have a current obsession with ALL things Pluto/Scorpio related right now - both in my chart & in the charts of others. Within the last 2 months, I've *finally* educated myself about *aspects* in astrology and it just gets soooo deep and interesting! IN MY CHART: -PLUTO in Scorpio (in the 1st House) -Moon trine PLUTO -Mars sextile PLUTO -Neptune sextile PLUTO -PLUTO trine Jupiter -Venus in the 8th House (in Taurus) What feedback can you offer me on these placements? Do you share any of these same aspects in YOUR chart? How 'Scorpio-like' does this make us compared to a Scorpio-Sun individual?
Sorry if this subject has come up before. But dammit I wanted my *own* thread! (Just the Aries way!) IP: Logged |

I have a Pluto aspect (minor and major) to all of the planets except Venus.Pluto semisextile Sun Pluto conjunct Moon Pluto semisquare Mercury Pluto quintile Mars Pluto square Jupiter Pluto semisquare Saturn Pluto semisextile Uranus Pluto sextile Neptune Pluto conjuct North Node Pluto square Vertex Pluto semisquare AC I myself am confused as to how all this Plutonian energy plays out. I know for sure my Pluto Moon makes me comfortable with intense emotions--and I am at times able to really get people when they come to me with their problems. IP: Logged |

We both have Moon trine Pluto. This aspect definitely stands out for me. I'd always thought that I was very emotionally intense for an Aries -- I understand why now haha. Btw...Cat how do you feel having all that Pisces in your chart? Having an Aries Sun and all?

Pluto takes 247 - 248 years to orbit the sun once. This makes it a "generational" planet; most of the people born in any generation have Pluto in the same sign. Its orbit is a long oval, so it spends more time in some signs than other signs; between 12 and 31 years per sign. Pluto was in Scorpio from November 1983 through part of 1995 (I'm not sure what month). Interpretations:
quote:
Pluto in ScorpioPluto in Scorpio is ruled by strong emotions. Not only do they react according to their own emotions, but they can understand how others feel as well. They are drawn to activities that will involve them emotionally. Intensity is the key word for them. Scorpio Pluto knows how to bring things that are hidden out into the light. They fight for human rights and they have a talent for helping the unconventional become accepted. Topics that capture their interest may include the occult, sex, the mind, death, genetic engineering and cloning. Scorpio Pluto may tend towards dark thoughts. They naturally filter out the good and happy things, focusing on the darker, secret motives of those around us. They may feel that they know best in every situation. On the other hand, individuals born with Pluto in Scorpio may try to remain positive so strongly that they find themselves in denial, finding out when it is too late about all that was happening right under their noses. Their emotional courage, deep understanding and the ability to face their own wounds as well as those they have given to others can create a strong person you want on your side. They can be rather manipulative or controlling at times. They tend to question all the rules and may feel oppressed by the status quo. Their passionate natures incline them to experience as much as possible. They also have great willpower. They can focus on gaining wealth and power if so inclined. quote:
Pluto in the 1st HouseYou radiate intensity, and others' first impressions of you tend to be strong, one way or the other. You might often intimidate others with your manner. You can be very protective of your privacy, yet you generate much intrigue and interest with your strong presence. You might struggle with fears of being overpowered, rejected, or minimized, yet few are able to guess that you could be anything less than confident. Your first instinct in new situations is gutsy and determined, defensive and intense. You rarely accept the obvious or the surface of matters -- instead you look through situations in order to read any information on hidden levels. Strive to avoid getting your back up or viewing life as a battleground. (Source: http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/plutoinhouses.html )
quote:
Moon Trine PlutoSeemingly afraid of nothing, you tackle problems with confidence, and intuitively accept that life is demanding. In fact, you prefer life to be at least gently challenging, as you feel alive and vital when you are experiencing deep emotions, sharing intimacy, and digging deep for answers. You come across as powerful and intense, and usually this earns you respect from others, although some might feel vaguely intimidated by you. You can be quite matter of fact and you expect the same kind of honesty, respect, and candor from others that you express. In fact, you can be quite baffled by, and impatient with, others who are not forthright. You are a sensual and emotional lover, as well as a deep, perceptive, and insightful friend. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Moon and Pluto have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Moon sextile Pluto: Your daily habits get restructured periodically. This happens because you feel the need for change and respond to this feeling enthusiastically. You are deeply driven and have a powerful need for a wide variety of life experiences within a chosen area or field. Moon trine Pluto: Compulsive and driven, you accomplish much through your ability to keep trying different approaches to a problem until it is solved. People either like you or dislike you intensely, as you are consciously focused and emotionally riveting, forcing people to choose sides. Your emotional instincts operate in a symbolic realm, conferring on you great skill in organizing patterns of thoughts as well as groups of people. You are very skillful at aligning the positive influences in your life. Women with this aspect (sample from the Astrology Profile for Women report): With the easy flow of energy between the Moon and Pluto indicated by their sextile aspect to one another, you can be quite adept in your understanding of human emotion. In many ways, you are a natural psychologist, since your insights into the inner workings of the psyche can be quite powerful. But that insightfulness also works to your benefit in the world of business and within your personal relationships. Whether in work or in your personal relationships, you can be highly expressive of your opinions and feelings, and appreciate the same honesty and expressivity from others. There is a healing quality about you which may draw others into your life who are seeking support and understanding. As a mother you can be deeply connected to your children and may even find that their friends come to you for your sincere understanding and insight. In your intimate relationship with a partner, your passion can be immense, and you may experience a level of unity and bonding which completely transforms your life. Since you're not likely to do anything halfway, you usually take the time to be discriminating in your choices. Leaving yourself vulnerable is simply not your style. Through the connection of your Moon and Pluto in trine aspect, your emotional sensibilities are quite intense. Your ability to sense things below the surface is amazing, including the way others feel - despite what they may say! You can be an intimidating woman although you don't try to be, simply because you possess a level of awareness which is absolutely penetrating. Your embrace of the true essence of feminine power is quite remarkable, and your ability to bounce back in the face of challenge or adversity is directly linked to this power. With a high capacity to create and transform, you are capable of returning life to the lifeless and purpose to that which has grown stale. You are innately aware of and connected to the powerful changes which occur throughout your menstrual cycle, and by working with these alterations in your body, mind and soul you can become a much more effective woman. Others may be drawn to your healing quality, and you can open your soul in such as a way as to allow others to find their own strength. In intimate relationships, you have the ability to achieve a level of bonding which transcends the ordinary. Your sexuality and sensuality are special keys for your achievement of ecstasy. As a mother, you may have a phenomenal link to your children, and can be especially effective in helping them develop a trust and understanding of their deeper needs and feelings. quote:
Mars Sextile PlutoYou are committed, determined, and passionate. For you, it's all or nothing, and you are baffled by, and possibly impatient with, others who do things only halfway or half-heartedly. You are usually quite decisive, and often unwavering once committed. You are certainly a passionate person and you possess a fascinating and commanding aura. You are generally confident about your own talents. You employ strategy when you are going after something, and you are very talented at this, saving time and energy. While you are perfectly capable of outwitting others as a natural psychologist, whether you take advantage of this skill or not depends much on the rest of your natal chart. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mars and Pluto have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Alternate, short interpretations: Mars sextile Pluto or Mars trine Pluto: *You dream up creative solutions to problems and take an imaginative, unusual approach to getting a job done. When difficulties arise you prefer to avoid conflict and confrontation in favor of more peaceful or subtle methods of resolving problems. Working to help others or for a cause that transcends your own narrow, personal interests is satisfying for you. You have an artistic flair and appreciate the colorful, unique, or strange. You are capable of applying tremendous effort to anything you attempt. The spiritual lesson is to learn moderation. Moderation often means acting like one of the pack instead of always being the leader. (Source: http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/marsplutoaspects.html )
quote:
Neptune sextile PlutoThis is a 'generational' influence that is most noticeable in charts where it contacts the angles or Sun or Moon. Neptune relates to mass consciousness. Pluto relates to political power, global organisations, focussed energy or 'underground' institutions. When these planets are in contact with each other there is often widespread onflict or focus upon political issues and collective ideals. (Source: http://www.skyscript.co.uk/neptuneaspects.html )
quote:
Jupiter trine PlutoThe trine between Jupiter and Pluto produces a powerful exuberance in your nature that allows you to inspire others to their potential, as you likewise are able to achieve your own. You have wonderful organizational skills that can be useful, especially in business, education, and public welfare. (Source: http://www.skyscript.co.uk/jupiteraspects.html )
quote:
Venus in the 8th HouseIntensity is what you seek in your love relationships, so that casual encounters are not necessarily your game. You are easily bored with mechanical interactions between partners, and might prefer drama in your relationships to anything mundane or superficial. However, you also fear being vulnerable in love, and, in youth, you may control your emotions in love. Fears of being betrayed may be at the heart of your somewhat jealous and possessive nature in love. When you give yourself over to love, you love wholeheartedly and expect all-consuming, total devotion and attention in return. You find passion a healing force in your life. Your charm runs deep--just below the surface. You are attracted to all that is taboo, hidden, forbidden, and find beauty in the broken, disenchanted, obsessed, and passionate. In some cases, people with this position might make a business out of love, romance, and eroticism. There is an intensity about you that others pick up readily. Either they run or they are completely intrigued! (Source: http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/venusinhouses.html )

i honestly love it. pisces coupled with the pluto aspects really lets me be emotionally intense. and it lets me understand how people feel. i have extreme amounts of empathy. like you, i definitely am not your typical aries. the only pisces placement that doesnt suit well with me is the mars in pisces, but its in the 5th house so it makes me really competitive (something my arian side loves). the aries sun represents itself mostly through an abundance of energy and confidence. and heres a description of venus trine pluto; "Instinctually, you observe others and have a strong feel for their motivations. You can use your sharp perceptions to quickly size up a person or situation, and to deal with either accordingly. Extremely resourceful, you are also excellent at determining the worth or value of material things. You can help others to discover their own worth as well. You are naturally attracted to relationships that transform you, that are growing and evolving, and that are intense. You can use your strong intuition and understanding of others for good or for bad, and this depends largely on other aspects in your chart. You are selective in taste, and highly devoted and passionate to the things (and people) you do love. Your charisma is strong and natural, often understated, and you can be quite persuasive."

The only aspect I share with you is Venus in the 8th house. Pluto in the 1st House might make you seem "Scorpionic", at least outwardly, a bit like a Scorpio Rising person might appear to be. Other than that... I'm not sure. Your Pluto aspects might give a Scorpio "feel" to those other planets and their placements; as some of the interpretations noted, you may naturally have more depth, a feel for deeper meaning, and you may be drawn to deeper connections than you normally would.

"The subject will embody the raw, dark Pluto energy very physically. Sexuality will be in your face and hard to avoid. They will enjoy flaunting the taboo side of this placement and relish in playing the “Bad girl” or “Bad boy”. The Pluto stare can be unnerving and used as a means to control and dominate. Indeed those dark eyes burn so deep into their targets soul that one can feel quite violated by them. Pluto here can be too intense for some people to handle, so Pluto Ascendant may find that people have a love/hate relationship with them and that they are giving the cold shoulder after a certain amount of time. Of course Pluto is also very adept at deep freeze behaviour itself. Pluto demands so much attention that it can be very draining for anyone close to them. They can get the reputation of being the “Bunny Boiler” since they are the ultimate stalker and can obsess over someone through their tendency to become addicted to the sexual part of the relationship. On the plus side these people are incredibly loyal and would die for those they love. They have the most dramatic and mesmerizing presence of all the planets rising and they are very, very hard to say no to. They do very well in politics and positions of power once they learn to lace their coercive tactics with a bit of charm." I don't know about the sex bit. I do use the "Pluto Stare" to my advantage. It certainly works! People who are on a friendly personal level it's a non-issue. i find that to an extent I actually can see into them if they allow eye contact and some, but less if they don't. Pluto Square MC "This aspect indicates that you will have to make a special effort to get along with people. You must make it clear that you not try to fulfill your goals in life at their expense, and that you will not allow them to take advantage of you either." This seems prominent and powerful in my experience. Neptune Sextile Pluto: "There is the opportunity to use your psychic abilities for the benefit of humanity; Can develop clairvoyance & prophetic ability. Have precognitive dreams. Strong psychic healing powers; desire for justice for all people. Abhor violence or anything that might degrade or oppress another person or animal." I feel this also. Completely non-violent, but not afraid of it. Psychic abilities seem to be there but are not predictable or consistent. Pluto Sextile Saturn: "With a sextile, ideas come easily and we can make a mental picture of the forces at work that helps align our intention to use those forces wisely. We can also benefit from talking about our thoughts and insights with others and from using the Geminean gift of mental curiosity: reading, listening, and researching." Pretty true! Although talking about my thoughts and insights is not recommenced for my particular chart. Just stuff I dug up from various sources. You may or may not agree with their descriptions. IP: Logged |

I do have mommy issues, a dark sense of humour and I am a rather intense person. Everything I do must have meaning...if i don't feel it, it just isn't important. I love music that makes me cry. Blackbird,Thank you for taking the time to find & post those descriptions! Much of that was very true for me! Very nice! We're two peas in a pod. Do you find yourself highly attracted to Scorpios?? If a man has Scorpio in his personal planets (especially his Sun or Mars) I am pulled in like a magnet!!! And they are drawn to me also because I have a lot of depth myself & I crave that in a relationship. Zander, I especially agreed with this post of yours: Neptune Sextile Pluto - "There is the opportunity to use your psychic abilities for the benefit of humanity; Can develop clairvoyance & prophetic ability. Have precognitive dreams. Strong psychic healing powers; desire for justice for all people. Abhor violence or anything that might degrade or oppress another person or animal." IP: Logged |
