What do you consider most important in deciding an astrologically more fortunate place? The astrocartography map, relocation charts, or comparison of a person's natal chart with the chart of a city or state (which often have no exact time, just a date)? I'm specifically looking at what might be a better place for work/money. Found one city chart that looks good but has Pluto *exactly* on my natal north node of the Moon, which is conjunct my natal Jupiter. Great place or disaster in the making?! Otherwise, would I be looking for a city's Sun, Moon, Jupiter or Venus in my natal 2nd, 6th or 10th houses? Thanks IP: Logged |

to be honest I think it's bullsh!t... I've lived whole my life in place where I got Pluto going through, and You know what, I am freaking happy, whereas I lived a couple of years in england, in place where I got Jupiter going exactly through, and those 2 years were the worst and hardest ones I ever had, so if You like the place, just go for it, planets can't control You or your life ;pIP: Logged |

Hi Lianee, well, no, planets don't control our lives completely. They do seem to have an effect or this forum wouldn't exist, yes? ...Are you certain of your birth time? That's critical for the positioning of the lines on an astrocartography map. How close were you to the actual line...? I have had some interesting experiences on a few of my planetary lines, and chart comparison of a city with a person's seem to have relevance, at least for me. For instance, my current city's natal chart has a Mars/Saturn conjunction straddling my ascendant, and Saturn is sitting on top of my natal Mercury/Venus conjunction. To say nothing has gone very well for me here would be a massive understatement! I've compared some charts of other cities I've been to or are thinking of going to, and have been very intrigued. I would love to know more about comparing a city chart with a person's natal chart, though. I'd also like to see if it makes a difference if the next city/town in which I live has a more compatible chart with mine. IP: Logged |

I think houses are important. I'd check the relocation chart, and make sure a benefic or well-aspected planet falls in the 2nd and maybe 10th and 6th, yes.
