My guess is that he doesn't behave like your typical Leo; gregarious, loud, in your face etc.
The Moon in Libra, Venus in Virgo placements suggests a perfectionist and someone who can be as exacting and critical of others as he is of himself.
Whilst the Moon in Libra may give him a natural inclination to be in the company of people. His early environment may have had his parents inviting people over the house and so, he learned that social accessibility is important.
The Mars in Cancer is the "method" he employs to get things he wants. Cancer, much like Libra, uses the "charm" approach and can get what they want through being nurturing, loving, co-orperative and diplomatic.
But, unlike Libra Mars, they respond emotionally to other people shoving and pushing their way ahead.
They are quick to take offense if other's approach vs theirs, is abrasive and insensitive and can personalize and rememeber injuries suffered in the hands of others (explicitly).
At worst, the Mars in Cancerr, can exact as much revenge as Mars Scorpio and respond as violently as Mars in Aries.
But this approach is usually when things have gotten to their extreme and usualy, they are quite eager to get back to their cuddly, warm selves. It's not in their nature to be aggressive or respond with extremes.
The Cancer Mars people I have come into contact with, seem to like taking care of their siblings or family members. They have a certain kind of sober protectiveness towards those they care about and consider "family".
And, I'd imagie, they'd make protective fathers as they are very instinctually lead.
But I think that this protectivenss would be levelled to their daughters than their sons. Mars in Cancer men can come across as quite "macho" too and very much adhering to the male archetype. So they'd enourage their sons to conceal their vulnerable nature , not only from themselves, but also to the "big bad world" etc.
