Libra mooners get on my nerves but I have things in common with them. They talk SO MUCH out of nervousness, and say the same thing over and over...it kind of makes me want to rip my hair out, but *shrug.* People are who they are. They are more into being liked rather than being themselves, seem more impatient, and more emotional BUT they are also very intuitive which I don't think is one of Taurus moon's strong traits (Taurus moon by itself. Without aspects.)

The Libra mooners I know are very image conscious and they hate it when people are publicly over emotional. They're very observant and they seem easygoing.

Those I know with Taurus moons seem very calm and kind of slow to do things. They also love to cook and they're always buying high quality stuff.

Taurus moons are so calm and relaxed... they are very slow at doing things, my best friend is a scorpio with taurus moon, and she is soooo slow to get out of that door when we are going somewhere:P
But moon is taurus is a very comfortable placement, cause it is a fixed earth sign, so you can really count on them...they do their things in their way, and you can't really stress them or push them...they can be so steady that they resist changes, and it can be hard for them to do anything spontaneous that differ from their plans...they make plans for everything!

Libra moons are very different, they seem to like being spontaneous, and though they are very orderly and balanced with their emotions, they are not as stable... if something isn't right and balanced they don't hang around, instead they can flip over and be very stressed out, making them very critical and cumbersome! They are much more sensitive than moon in taurus, and it is easy to make them change their minds... they are much more adaptable to their surroundings, cause they are good at fitting in everywhere

Hey hicoro!
Okay I know two Libra Moons and one Taurus Moon, but I know all of them fairly well so I hope my info helps.

Okay, Taurus Moon IME are tranquil and cool. Lets just say they dont really bother with anything, but in a good way. They wont go around gossip, nor will get themselves in catfights. It feels to me like they have a strong sense of self-protection. It's not that they don't feel things, of course they do, but they don't let their feelings overwhelm them and ruin their day, like for instance a Gemini or an Aries Moon would do. They keep their temper but at the same time they are also steady with their opinions. If you mess with them, its not like they will hold a grudge or anything like that, but they will keep that in mind and simply ignore you from now on. They also dont care about everyone liking them, they will stay true to their beliefs and wont sugarcoat things. They have some sort of inner peace.

Libra Mooners, crave to be accepted by others. These giys can't even argue out of fear that the other person will no longer want to hang out with them. They act passively and sometimes even get caught becoming a victim out of fear to step up. They make good and loyal friends IME. They can be irritated by small things, and they are extremely affected by other people's opinion about them ( the Taurus Moon doesnt give a damn what other people think-not in a bad way-they have that inner peace I already said above). Their feelings change easily through the day if something bad occurs, even if it is a small thing.

So yeah Libra and Taurus Moon are very different IMO.

interesting about the image stuff....
so, libra mooners care more about reputation when it comes to image, because i find both signs like to "look good" and have an eye for aesthetics.

Well I don't know what they are attracted too, the moon is more about feelings you know... But they both like beauty a lot...
Libra moons can be a bit superficial in that area, they just get attracted by beauty, without really knowing the person
I think libra moons like their date to be intellectual stimulating, if the date fails to be stimulating in that area the libra moon gets bored quickly... there has to be something to keep them awake you know, something that is interesting and makes them want to know more and appreciate their intelligence
I think they also like someone who is social intelligent, they get bored with people who creates a lot of problems, and can't enjoy being social as the libra moon people
Their date has to know about the social rules, and they have to love being social with them, especially in groups

I think that a taurus moon is more large in these areas, they are a bit more introverted, but they demand that their partner has a good taste, likes to enjoy life like they do, and preferable with "good music, food and art", they love things of good quality, not especially expensive, but something worth their time... they don't want to waste time with a partner that doesnt appreciate their style and sense for fashion...
Libra moons are more large in that area I believe...
But taurus moons isn't so demanding, they are more willing to commit and stay with their partner and they have soooo much more patience
So even though their partner changes and the taurus moon dont (cause they rarely change at all) they will still be there and try to make their influence
Taurus moons doesn't really change their styles, but they keep making it better and better and more strong willed
Libra moons change all the time and likes changes everywhere, and they want their partner to be just as ready for change and just as adaptable in life, especially in social situations

A former friend of mine was a Libra moon(conjunct with her Libra sun )She was a nice person but had some issues which enforced me to cut ties from her.

With her moon sign placed in Libra, she did have some moments of being spontaneous sometimes even in a good way. She seemed to be needy of a close relationship with the opposite sex.

I also know a taurus moon. I've known him for a short period of time. He's a close relative of a family who's friends with my boyfriends family.

He displays a very calm, serene, and friendly demeaner which is typical of taurus moon.

My sis is a Taurus moon, Mom is a Libra moon.

My sister is very sweet, doesn't like drama. She can be stubborn, but it's only a minor annoyance to me. She also has her moon in 5H, so she LIVES for her bratty-ass kids (LOL!) and is very affectionate. She loves the arts: films, photography, gourmet cuisine, etc. She is very stylish, too. She loves her luxuries, lemme tell you, lol. Excellent listener and great with advice.

My mother is also very nice, mostly calm demeanor. She cares about her appearance a great deal, quite stylish as well. Even if she's going to the store she'll fix her hair, look for a particular set of earrings, but fusses with someone else if they're "holding up the works" doing the same thing, lol. She doesn't like to go out on any outing on her own, she's quite social (hers is in 7H). She has periods where she's not all that assertive and looks to someone else to take charge of a situation. She also has a "two-faced" thing that she does, that I find highly annoying. On a small level, she has a bit of haughtiness (I'm classier than you) about her, but she's mostly even-tempered. She also gives pretty good advice.

thanks, even though a lot of it sounds like...sun sign descriptions.
are these two placements bothered by the same things? i mean, what are their commonalities? mind you, i see what you wrote, but maybe...just maybe, they shouldnt both be ruled by venus then. ???
as to beauty, i do find both like aesthetics, like, i can picture both placements enjoying nice wine, good art, classy things. im still not clear as to their differences in terms of appreciating aesthetics and beauty in things (not people).
but judging the posts, it looks like these signs are extremely different and have little in common.

is your moon in a water sign?

i dont understand the expression "holding up the works"
and what do you mean by the "two-faced" thing?

i do agree about libra mooners being more passive and social, it seems they have difficulty doing things alone imo.

All I know is everyone around me has gossipy moons and I don't really enjoy gossiping. I like writing, just not wasting time on the phone gossiping. I know women who will spend HOURS a day on a phone gossiping about other people. Really, what is the fascination? I wonder if Taurus moon is least gossipy of the bunch?

My moon is in Aries (opposing my mother's--EXACT). My progressed moon, however, is about 10° Taurus.

"Holding up the works" means halting any progress. She takes her time looking for particular accessories ("I can't wear white sneakers with this coat, are you crazy?! You don't have any style!") while the rest of us are hurrying out of the door to go somewhere. If someone else does exactly what she just did, she'll get upset! LOL

The "two-faced" thing means that she'll agree with someone one day, then say the opposite another day. One example are these friends I had: they're gorgeous girls, but they're very catty and cliquish and many people don't like them. She heard someone else calling them "mean girls", so she ran with that. She fussed about all the things that they've done wrong, etc. Then one of them has a baby, and she's on the phone with them, gushing, talking about how beautiful they are, inviting them over. o_O

Gossip, IMO, is Gemini/Mercury placements. I also believe that there's different types of gossip. Sometimes you're spreading good news, or want an update on someone. Other times, there's spreading rumors or "hating" on people. I like to gossip, but I hate bashing people. I also don't like spreading very personal details or troubles about someone else.

Even if they do like to gossip, how can someone do it for hours a day is my question? I have Mercury conjunct Jupiter I just don't get that much from it. It's rumors and innuendo for the most part anyway and it's a waste of time. Non productive.

LOL! "Non productive", I love it! Good for you, actually. I can see where Mercury conjunct Jupiter broadens your perspective and thinking, you're simply thinking of "big" things and not concerning yourself with the small stuff, the mundane even.

I can get on the phone for hours at a time, but I'm talking about all sorts of things. Mercury is heavily aspected in my chart: it's making a close major aspect to almost every planet except the Moon (exact quintile) and Saturn/Mars (wide trine). It's also squaring my Midheaven by a 10' orb.

People who while away the day gossiping have Mercury or Gemini prominent, as they have a strong NEED to share information/communicate. I would venture to say that the Mercury is afflicted and making a hard aspect to Neptune and/or Pluto, especially if it's "negative" comments or it's wasting lots of time. Perhaps Gemini is on the 12H cusp?

By gossip I am talking about words that do not necessarily have a basis in reality or may simply be half truths, not necessarily "information," just idle people wasting time. It's kind of like an addiction for the ones I know. It's like their brains are being bathed in some sort of "feel good" chemical when they partake. How else could they go on and on daily, wasting an entire evening?

I knew a girl who liked to fantasize a lot her Mercury was opposite Neptune and she would create really vivid fantasies. I tend to daydream too, but hers were like, a hundred times more detailed and vivid than mine.

Hikoro -

Of course Taurus mooners have instincts and intuition but in the realms of give and take I don't think it serves them very well. Libra is a sign of the scales, they are objective and because they can see both sides to an issue (or at least they have the ability to - doesn't mean they always make this choice!) it is easier and natural for them to know how to create seemingly win/win situations.

Taurus mooners? Eh... not so much. Both Libra and Taurus are selfish signs for the mere fact they're ruled by lazy, beautiful Venus but Taurus is fixed, and not concerned with give or take. They are more often concerned with their own comfort levels than other's comfort levels. My point is they are self-oriented in their own way so they have good intuition when reading people initially or when it strikes them, but it is not an ongoing ability.

^ From MY perspective only, I'm sure there are Taurus mooners people know who contradict everything I said. This is just me working it out in my mind.

I wonder if that's a Scorpio thing? I do take forever to do things, certain milestones in life definitely but little things like getting out the door I am flash-in-the-pan-let's-go! It's my Aries stellium probably, BUT my Scorpio friend with a Capricorn moon also takes FOREVER, so I wondered.

I know both Taurus and Libra moons. I am an Aries moon. For whatever reason, I don't get along with Taurus mooners very well.

Taurus moons i know really love singing, and seems to insist their feelings are right. They are very orderly/organized as well. Both Taurus mooners I know have very good memory.

Libra mooners are very similar to Aqua mooners but more charming and likeable. They don't like showing emotions but they really try to weigh in how you feel.

Oh I almost forgot to mention this...

I also had another friend who had Libra moon. At first, she and I got along and felt at ease with one another due to our moon signs forming a trine with one another.

I'm Aquarius moon, in case you're wondering.

As our friendship progressed, she became very whiney and a downer many times because she wasn't getting all the attention that she felt that she deserved. She was always a jealous attention-seeker. On my behalf, that wasn't cool.

I find Taurus moons to be traditional in life, not like it's a bad thing.
