It can point to an abusive / obsessive relationship. The vast majority of stories I've heard about with this aspect end in a very negative way and aren't healthy to begin with. I'm sure there are exceptions though.Sometimes it just means that one person is into the other while the other isn't - unrequited love. IP: Logged |

I find this aspect always associated with taboo triangle relationships, illicit to begin with then it's made public. different race/religion big age difference , younger/older pain, usually associated with a child/children ego conflict disappears for years then resurfaces with a Saturn transit. Both partners transform with the relationship but the price is high. unrequited love, or he/she will have no time for you anymore. sexual problems.

My boyfriend has this in his natal. We also have venus inconjunct pluto in synastry but in composite its venus trine pluto. I would say it depends. I am 9 years younger than he is. Hes very suspicious and has an imaginary man made up in his head that he swears i sneek around with :/ No abuse or love triangles thiugh and no unrequitted love.
I have noticed venus conjunct pluto to be more about affairs. IP: Logged |

Sounds more like manipulativeness, possessiveness, playing games with each other's affections, jealousies, stuff like that. I guess some people COULD like that if you're into high drama! This is the stuff from which soap operas are made. IP: Logged |

A composite won't tell you whether or not it's one sided. I've heard/read that comparing a natal to the composite can give you information on what the relationship means to the individual. I copied this from Café Astrology: "I look to see if any of the personal composite planet/point positions conjunct the individuals' personal planets and points. For example, if the composite Sun is at 22 degrees Virgo, and one of the individuals has Moon at 20-24 degrees Virgo. If there are 2 or more of these, I consider them powerful signs that the relationship will be a meaningful one. If only one of the individuals receives these aspects, this can be a sign that that person is more attached to the relationship than his/her partner." Here's the link: http://www.cafeastrology.com/compositechart.html Having said that, I don't know how valid that is. I've compared composites between my youngest sister and myself with each of our natal charts; that left me questioning whether this really works or not. IP: Logged |

Both ways when it comes to both of us. For example yesterday he told me i was being a jealous psycho. Mind u, at that exact moment he was holding my phone and demanding to know the passcode so he could see if u am text messaging other men or talking to guys on facebook. Hes 40 years old but acts like hes 16. I am very jealous myself though so i cant really complain. Breathing in the same space as another woman even if she is ugly is enough to get me in a rage.
I know im a psycho :/
We are both geminis. Hes more calm with his jealousy though. Doesnt scream or yell. Im more confrontational and glad im older now because if i was in my teens i would have gotten physical.
Do u have pluto aspects in synastry or in your natals? ------------------ Gemini sun 12th.(Gemini/cancer cusp) Cancer asc 1st Taurus moon 11th Taurus venus 11th Libra mars 3rd Gemini mercury 11th IP: Logged |

Any Venus aspect to Pluto brings hidden issues to the surface , I think that's the point of the relationship! Only an honest relationship will do with these people , even if its painful, even if it makes you insecure /possessive / jealous/insane ! my exp. I noticed the easy aspects to handle this better. All in all this will transform the way you love.

VENUS SQUARE PLUTO: Secret SuspicionsAncient, unconscious flotsam and jetsam float to the surface today and, like a small invisible devil whispering in our ear, plant nagging doubts and secret suspicions that quickly loom large. We find ourselves scrutinizing our closest companions, wondering if they’re really where they say they are, and is that email relationship really all that innocent? Compulsive, obsessive, jealous thoughts run repeatedly through our minds. And based on what? Nothing but age-old and terribly outdated psychological history. Some emotional archeology is in order. Transforming these urges to control and manipulate others frees up our intense, amazing creative ability. http://www.theastrologer.com/dailyinsights/2012/02/15/venus-square-pluto-secret-sus picions/
