All that saturn can be a bit of a killer? It could be a bit too restricting over time, and you/him could get really bored by it all.

Sure. You're welcome to do as you like.

Saturn doesn't necessitate a bad thing. Hard aspects will mean the person's planet that is being aspected by Saturn will not particularly enjoy Saturn's input. Easy aspects indicate that the person's planets that aspect Saturn will have cooperation from Saturn.

Whoever's Saturn is square the other person's Mercury will have some trouble with that person's thinking and expression, I think.

Whoever's Moon is opposite Saturn may not like Saturn trying to bring structure or rules to the emotional realm.

Whoever's Mars is opposite Saturn may feel like whatever they want to do is always scrutinized for legitimacy.

It's interesting about the mutual Saturn's in the opposite's 7th, and if B's Sun is conjunct Saturn, then you have a pseudo-Capricorn on your hands.

Its all relative.
What I have learnt in LL is that when looking at synastries you also have to take into consideration each natal chart and what each synastry aspect trigers in each natal.

I dont mind Saturn-Sun connections probably because my natal Sun is conjunct my Saturn and other than that conjunction is well aspected.

What I hate is having Saturn around my Moon. My Moon is heavily afflicted so I have enough issues on my own regarding the expression of my feelings and specifically the difficulty of actually expressing them.
So one of my exe's had his Saturn trine my Moon. I couldnt stand the trine, it was too much for me, it wasnt appreciated by my Moon. Combine that with his Virgo stellium which was also hard to endure and BOOM the synastry was doomed.

Yes, I agree with that very much. It all depends on how comfortable/welcoming each person would be to Saturn's "talents". Personally, I could use some loving discipline in my life to bring out the best in what I have to offer (this is probably true for everyone, but not everyone is aware and/or open to admitting this). But that person would have to "offer their Saturn" in the right manner or I would end up resenting it.

Likewise, I've got Saturn conjunct Jupiter in my natal chart (2 degree orb). You can't get one without the other from me. So things like that MUST be taken into account in synastry or you'll end up with a very distorted picture. And my conjunction happens in Capricorn, so anyone whose planet lands on it would already have a "Saturn-flavored (name a planet)"; they might actually LIKE my Saturn since it's their planet's dispositor.

What you really need to do is look at each natal chart. Determine what their Saturn is doing and how they're making use of it in their lives (Do they get depressed or get disciplined? Do they teach or preach?). Decide if each would be open or welcoming to Saturn from the other.

And you can ALWAYS walk away, no matter how "fated" it might seem. The choice is still yours.

I totally agree with you JKitty. There are definitely some good/bad aspects in synastry according to textbooks, but it is really what works for its native.
Personally, I carry a lot of supressed Pluto energy so I need Pluto in the synastry to release my Plutonian there. Someone else could probably find this energy intense and unwanted in their synastry.

I had a conversation witn Doux Reve about Saturn, and it turns out to be that the Saturn person is also affected. It's not like the Saturn person is cool an all, on the contrary the Saturn person may cling more the planet person.

Thank you for your replies -
I have Sun/Saturn in Leo , and His a Taurus , but funny enough he has Saturn/Uranus conj. to his Moon in Sag.
Even my progressed Sun is exactly squared to the minute and sec. his Saturn !!!! Tried to end it, didn't talk for months and one fine day, he calls again....I think it will break once our Karma is settled especially now that Saturn in Scorpio is activating our Sun/Saturn aspects !
