What does it mean when a mans vertex in his 6th house conjuncts a womans vesta in her 8th house?

I think Vesta represents devotion.
So if your Vesta conjuncts his Vertex, maybe you're supposed to be devoted to him in some way? Or show him support in his everyday life or work (6th).

Well, the "career" and "social face" are shown by the MC (10th).

The work itself - how it's done - is shown by the 6th house.
