Is it better to have any kind of aspect between planets in synastry whether good or bad or non at all? Like is it better to have mercury square mercury or no contact between mercuries at all? I always wondered this thanks for answering

Its better to have bad aspects vs none at all. If there are no aspects then you and the other person would have nothing in common whereas if there are bad aspects then you have an idea of where problems may occur and you'll know how to work on it. Plus there really are no bad aspects, just stressful ones, and they add character to the relationship

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

There are many times when a planet in Synastry Aspecting will have no aspects made to it. And with Synastry Aspecting, first - you can not cherry pick your aspects (what you get is what you get.) and second, you have to adjust your thinking to accept what is given you. Stressful aspects is a given, they will come and go, the fewer the better. No aspects against a planet suggest a kind of void in the area that planet represents. The Moon, either way, is the most common occurrence.

In both cases, stressful aspects and no aspects, you have to look for "work around" aspects in the Synastry Aspecting Chart. You are tying to find balance in the unit.

For instance, your MY sqr. MY Synastry Aspect. This influence suggest that you do not see eye to eye on most things. Your timing is off, you do not want to do the same things at the same time. You would have to look for a type of "work around" that suggest just the opposite. It can be with or without other MY combinations, but, you would have to look at favorable aspects made to JP, SA, UR, P or, Asc to figure out how to work around the MY sqr. MY barrier.

In the case of no aspect to a planet. I mentioned the Moon is a common recipient, so lets go there. The Moon represents the emotions. It brings things to you, it absorbs. With no aspects, the person seems to not feel drawn into the other person. There is a kind of void for the person. The "work around" would have to be the planets with similar healthy Moon influences. In this case, it would be favorable aspect influences, in either direction, with VE, JP, NP, P and or, Asc.. The lack of emotions still would be present but, any one of the planets mentioned here in good aspect have the potential to over power that empty emotional feeling.

I mention balance in Synastry Aspecting. In my opinion, these influences should be present in as many of your Synastry unions as possible. They include the "work arounds".

A blending of energy:
S - ego energy, MR - raw energy and, P - passionate energy.

A blending of belonging:
M - emotions, VE - love, NP - mystical or, Asc - support.

A blending of intellect via: -
MY, JP, SA or, P

A blending of laughter: -
through M - emotions, MY - intellect, VE - love, JP - growth or, Asc - support.
