How important and powerful is it. Is it really a minor aspect in natal and synastry IP: Logged |

Yeah, they can be felt. I did a thread on them a while back. I've got Venus quincunx Moon super tight. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/219101.html Quincunxes tend to give a vague impression that something 'off' or weird is going on that needs to be gotten to the bottom of. The quincunx is mystery solving, rearranging aspect. It’s an aspect of slight discomfort that inspires a person the make adjustments to improve their situation, or investigate various factors to get to the core of an issue. IP: Logged |

I think ha the key to understand aspects is to picture how the enrgies of the 2 signs would interact. Quincunx is formed by 2 signs that are completely different from each other, so that they are like from different worlds and have a hard time to understand each other.Natally, I have Virgo AC and Aries stellium, and I can say that both are very different from each other. Aries is the impulsive, emotional and fiery, while Virgo is calm, shy and collected. Then synastry experience, my husband, Sun is quincunx my Moon and my Mars is quincunx his Venus, and maybe there are a few more quincunxes either by sign or aspect. We sometimes can be different in our ways and might not get each other naturally. (good thing is he has Sag stellium and We have opposed ACs and then there are some compatible things between our charts to balance out) IP: Logged | |
