What instruments do you think suit each sign? This is what I imagine so far...Aries - (electric) guitar
Gemini - small drums, cymbals
Cancer - cello, double bass, bass guitar
Virgo - voice, chimes
Libra - piano, harp
Scorpio - violin, viola
Capricorn - saxophone
Pisces - zithers (mandolin, sitar, koto, etc.) IP: Logged |

I'm Leo Sun I don't play any instruments but I've ALWAYS wanted to play drums and I wouldn't mind learning to play Piano either. I love both of them. With my limited Astrological knowledge I can only give you what I know about myself. Plus, what Leo minds talking about themselves? LOL IP: Logged |

Yeah, Leo AC/ here  I like drums also. I started when I was young, but ditched it. My brother in-law Aquarius is a drummer, but we both have Mars Capricorn at the same degree, and Leo AC same degree (coincidence?). I would also agree that Pisces would be something like a sitar. Love me some Ravi Shankar and George Harrison (my birthday buddy).

Interestingly, both my husband and ex (Leo and Taurus, respectively) are both bass players.Husband has Venus/Sun Leo,Sag AC, but Capricorn Moon. Ex has Taurus sun/Virgo Ac. I would think of Leos as normally being vocalists, and Taurus on bass seems pretty natural. My Taurus son (birthday buddy with Brian Eno) will primarily only listen to very melodic music with clear, beautiful vocals. He seems to prefer string instruments (Sufjan Stevens, Belle and Sebastian, etc.). Sorry SE, you've invited Leo people to express their opinions. IP: Logged |

OMG! As a young girl I wanted to play the guitar SO bad, and I tried,, just didnt have the finger dexterity...Fell inlove with a Pisces guitar player once. Now I am quite enamoured with the Sitar... Yea...Fish chick getting her one day, if ot to play, then just to look at! IP: Logged |

I've always loved drums and drumming. I have drumsticks just to... you know, drum on stuff that isn't drums and annoy people in general!

I bet most Virgos, once they let down their hair, would love allowing their passions run wild on the drums since Virgos are supposed to be so repressed all the time, they have a surplus of potential energy stored just waiting to be released. At first they would act like the only instruments they can play are the subdued ones, like the viola but when they try the drums, they would be totally convinced. Capricorn, voice maybe? I've heard (and witnessed) that Capricorns have beautiful singing voices, although I don't like Capricorns  I do have a weakness for a good voice (mars in Gemini). And it makes sense too, they have a resilience and perhaps the lungs to sing. HeheIP: Logged |

Okay, okay...to topic.
I would think of Aries as drums...like primal, drums of war.
Taurus: I think of soothing and rich, bass (most Taureans I know love really old blues) or double bass.
Gemini: Synthesizers, keyboards.
Cancer: Cello or harp (rather nostalogic, emotional instruments to my way of thinking).
Leo: Vocals, lead guitar
Virgo: Violin (it takes precision).
Libra: Yeah, harp or piano, melodic.
Scorpio: Also drums, maybe (co-ruled by Mars). Deep, hypnotic drums.
Sagittarius: Fiddle, haha.
Capricorn: French horn? Not sure on that one.
Aquarius: Also synthesizers, but more in a Laurie Anderson type way, or a David Byrnes way. With spoken word involved.

Aries is definitely drums. Presence always felt.For Capricorn, it's pan flute. It's named after Pan, a satyr. I think he's capricorn. For Taurus, I think it's saxophone. Very sensual. Fire signs - percussion
