Looking at the thread's title, what does one have to do with the other? At any rate, Jupiter in Pisces in the 1st; conjunct Venus in Pisces; conjunct Pisces ascendant; square Neptune in Sagittarius; semi-sextile Sun in Aquarius; trine Saturn in Cancer. IP: Logged |

Yeah, took me a second to realize "significant other" was meant. What's really funny is that you said you're oblivious to acronyms, then used one right after that. lol IP: Logged |

Jupiter is suppose to represent our hubby traditionally.Mars is what we want in male partners. I assume this is what op is trying to find out. Now that I think about it.... My mom has Jupiter in Aqua and she's married to a leo with sun conjunct uranus... I have jupiter in virgo and always liked male pisces... This one has sun conjunct mercury....

Women are well advised to marry the sign of their Jupiter instead of mars. So they say, and it makes sense too. Jupiter is the true well-wisher, and not just about action and passion. My Jupiter is in Aries conjunct my sun in Aries. Now I don't know how well I will mesh with another Aries, my Venus is in Pisces, it needs tenderness. My "s.o" right now is an early Taurus with Venus also in Taurus. Mercury in Aries. Mars in cap squaring my sun and Jupiter. Jupiter is Pisces conjuncting my Venus. IP: Logged |

Bingo! That's why I asked. I didn't know Jupiter was associated with one's husband and found out through a astrological video on YouTube. I wanted to see how well it matched up. My Jupiter doesn't do much in the chart. It is inconjunct Uranus in Capricorn in the 7H, and biQuintile Neptune in Capricorn (also 7H.) Other than that it just squares my MC and True Node. So...my "husband" will prevent me from working? Or perhaps he is someone I will fight with at work or have creative differences with? Interesting that both my Mars and Jupiter are in the same house, same sign too - Gemini. I've mostly been apathetic towards them. IP: Logged |

But it's in your 7th and you attracted a Venusian person - makes sense! IP: Logged |

What about a Sag or Scorpio sun? In your case I'm thinking of characteristics and traits rather than signs. Useful though that a lot of you with your relationships have some kind of Jupiter / 7/ Venus action going on.

The BO and Jupiter thing was funny. So Jupiter in 12th means stinky feet, or...? My Jupiter is in Pisces 8th house, very loosely conj Venus Aries in 9th house. Jupiter sextile Mars Capricorn in 6th house. My relationships are generally very affectionate and loving, but simultaneously argumentative. This only happens in romantic relationships. My friendships have an entirely different dynamic. My husband is very nurturing and patient, a wonderful dad (changes diapers, does dishes, all that stuff), and incredibly intelligent, although not much for conversation. He's unconditionally loving, and I love him unconditionally as well. On the outside, we're nothing alike. Only a few common interests/tastes; we are kind of an odd couple. I am a recovering hipster, and he couldn't care less about music or style, etc. Well...he plays music, and listens to it, but our tastes are usually pretty different to say the least. But...the inside stuff, the important stuff, like spirituality, family, love of the earth, etc. is where we bond. So there's that.

I would much rather have Jupiter than Mars. Jupiter is much better in my chart, lol.

Jupiter sextile Mars... does that means you sometimes got who you wanted, and sometimes didn't? And did your romantic relationships turn argumentative in a snap, or was it like bantering/debating for fun? IP: Logged |

Yes, I think that I tend to get what I want sometimes, and not so much in other areas. It seems to be one thing or the other, in my relationships. Either I can share music, humor, and witty banter with someone who ends up being a jerk...or I can have love, spiritual connection, and family interests with someone who treats me lovingly. Yes, I would say that all of my relationships turn argumentative with a snap, it's never for fun (unfortunately). I also have Mars loosely square Uranus and Pluto opp Venus, so there's that. But with my husband, we're very quick to forgive and go back to being affectionate. He is Leo Sun with Sag AC, Capricorn Moon. IP: Logged |

I think another very important aspect to keep in mind is NN. My NN is ALSO in Aries. But I have a major weakness for tenderness and compassion and love shown with tenderness. I don't know how will I incorporate all that with Aries. Hanna, Sag will conjunct my Saturn, I don't like things aspecting my Saturn. Although I do appreciate sag characteristics a lot. So let's see, that leaves Pisces, Virgo, Sag, and Gemini out. I don't like Caps and libras :-p Why Scorpio? Will aspect my Pluto btw Violet, what's your hubby like? How does he aspect your Jupiter and sun? IP: Logged |
