Topic: Odd pattern in synastry with different people

So this is a bit weird but over time i've noticed there are a number of people who i've been interested in or who i admire from afar who have a personal planet at about 21-26 degrees in Capricorn.This falls on my first house, nowhere near the Ascendant It doesn't fall on the Nodal Axis or my Sun/Moon or Venus/Mars midpoint. I have no Planets and no significant Asteroids i've found at these degrees. Other than a Vesta opposition at 26 Cancer or a square to my Venus in Aries at 24 degrees i don't get why this keeps cropping up. Anyone else have any inexplicable patterns like this?

What about your anti-vertex? It's the point that is exactly opposite your vertex in your chart. Have you checked to see where that falls?IP: Logged |

I just wrote a post and then discovered the numbers were all wrong oh well.Anyway. My Moon is at about 11 degrees Leo (and Part of Fortune at 7 leo, not sure how much that plays a part in synastry though?). Which would form a 165 degree aspect/ quindecile with the 21-26 Capricorn. I think this explains it possibly though i don't know much about the quindecile. I see what they mean about the one-sidedness and maybe the obsessiveness, i don't know how major this aspect should be considered. IP: Logged |

Look at your duads!!!!
I had the same 'problem'. I'm attracted to early gemini moon people (0-10). I have no personal planets in gemini... but i do have my moon in the gemini duad. So i thought maybe that's why? ;DIP: Logged |

More than 8 months later i feel like mentioning i found out my progressed Mars is at 23 degrees Capricorn, trining my progressed Venus exactly... so there goes that mystery i supposeIP: Logged |

About dwads... you can google them but basically every sign is divided into 12 and every 2.5 degrees a new dwad starts. The first dwad is always the same as the sign IIRC then you move through the signs in order. Anyway, you can find charts that will help you calculate them if you do an google image search. It's true that some people are attracted to their dwad signs but that wouldn't explain why you like people with planets in only one part of Cap. You might also try looking into where your East Point aka 'the Equatorial Asc' is. It's where our Asc would be if we were born on the equator, and relates to our subjective experience of what constitutes 'perfection' and contentment. It's an axis like the Vertex/Antivertex. Cool isn't it to see your progressed planets reach out and attract different people into your life.I remember back in 2005/2006 the Cancers who played the most important roles (bosses, colleagues, crushes, friends) were born mostly at the end of June & at the Gemini cusp. My pVenus changed signs around this time, and was sitting at 0 Cancer. On the whole I really did feel "loved" & accepted around these people. IP: Logged |

That is fascinating! I'm just getting into progressions and they do appear to have quite an effect. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but i was looking at one particular chart/ progressions of a man who has Mars in retrograde, in Leo.. He got married just around the time his Mars progressed (regressed?) into Cancer. A slightly amusing thing to notice. IP: Logged |
