What do you think saturn transiting the 8th has to do with:

-paying off loans?
-taking out loans?
-finances in general?

Any other insight on this transit is appreciated.

I wouldn't think it is a good time to take out loans, but any loans that you take with the sincere desire to work hard to pay off, you will succeed.

Just so you know, Saturn doesn't give you any freebies, and when its transitng your 8th house of other people's money, you will have to work your butts off to make any money.
