I've pretty much followed every major fashion trend that's ever existed.
Scene, skater, hipster, prep, indie nerd.
Uggggggggh.
Thank god I was not a teen or an adult in the early 2000's..

Generally, I have been what is referred to as a hipster. This is coming to an end now that I no longer live in the city (a city known for its snobby hipsters, I might add).

I like styles that haven't caught on yet, and once they catch on I move on to the next new thing because I dislike looking "like everyone else".

Short sleeve shirt (with a band that I like or a witty saying on it or something like that, no long sleeves, hate them. No turtle necks, collars, button ups, or plaid either))

Jeans (no shorts, hate them, preferably none of the really light colored jeans either)

Shoes (no crocs, sandals, flip flops, etc)

I've even dressed casually to a funeral before. My mother was mad at me, but the woman who's funeral it was wasn't shallow like that, so I didn't really see it as a big deal.

I agree that Venus would be involved at least somewhat, though. Maybe it's my Venus conjunct Uranus? idk. I have Venus conjunct Neptune and Uranus, trine Ascendant and Chrion. 9th house, Virgo decan, Libra duad.

Sag AC & Moon/Jupiter in the 9th (for not being fearful of trying new things with my clothes & outfits, etc. ) ~ Moon/Jupiter in Virgo (I have to feel neat and put-together, a "clean" look) ~ Sun/Venus in Pisces ~ Moon/Venus/Jupiter square AC & Sun trine AC ~ 3 planets in the 3rd house, including Venus exalted (I've read before that planets in the 3rd house often point to good taste in colour matching )

Years ago, I rocked the Bettie Page look very well. My hair does that nicely, and I would wear a lot of layered slips with things like bright red coats with a leopard print on the inside. That did reflect my nature at the time (Aquarius Mercury conj DC perhaps, as well as the Venus Aries).

I then moved on to '80s retro stuff with leg warmers, leggings, mini skirts, and all that.

Now I tend to just wear skinny jeans, well made boots that I like (usually with buttons on the side...I have a pair of Fluevogs and a pair of BOC/Born boots that I like, and an old pair of Urban Outfitters black boots that I wear to work), and I still wear tight-fitting shirts with interesting graphics on them.
I just can't hang with the baggy, short shirts and sweaters with flowered leggings and hoof-like toeless shoes. I think it's hideous.

I have a simple, brown and white houndstooth coat that I wear in the winter, and stick with tank tops and shorts in the summer. Usually jean shorts with a cuff, and a cute tank top.

When it comes to my clothes I don't like to be in a rut, so lately when I shop I would try to buy colors I don't have yet. And with the weight loss, and pants and shorts being all kinds of crazy colors and patterns now of days, I realize I need basic black t-shirts and tank tops, to balance out the craziness.

I like shopping everywhere, I even have a checklist of a new place to shop every month.

That must be the Gemini, Aries, Aquarius in my chart.

For the having goals of places to shop, that must be the Capricorn and house 10 influences in my chart.
(two are now crossed(boycotted) off my list cause the companies do or say things I don't like: Ambercrombie and Wallmart.)

Oh I do have my off days, it's hard to be to look my best when I have to be places in the morning.
I can't shower before class anymore, because I WILL be 10 minutes late. And most of my teachers are sticklers on time. Today I picked out an outfit and no time to do hair. It's so unfair, if people really expect me to look my best they should not make things so early!
The Taurus and house 2 influence in me does not like to be rushed!
I don't know how other people do it!

Most of the time, I choose being on time than looking my best. And if someone try's telling me I don't look put together enough,
I will tell them A: Suck it!, B: If what I'm wearing bothers you that much, feel free to buy me a new wardrobe. C: Then don't rush me D: Don't make me be here so early, E: Well it's too late for me to change now!!! D: WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!?!

Also I prefer clothes that flatter my shape while being appropriate. Unless it's summer and I'm off duty, then I'll dress skimpy. I mean I'm in my 20's! Scorpio influence?

I also like my shoes to match what I wear. And feel trashy or not put together when my bra straps stick out. But sometimes it's like what ever people! just deal with it, it's hot out and I only own 2 strapless bras. Don't like it?...then buy me some more!
Wearing black and navy blue together bothers me, also brown and black, though I think it can be pulled off sometimes.
Must be 6 house influence.
I usually get complements on clothes, but not today.

I have a Venus in Virgo, my Venus doesn't really make any aspects to anything in my chart besides Jupiter. I have a TIGHT trine between Jupiter/Venus. As for my ASC, my ascendant is at 21 and my Venus is at 10, so the orbs are too wide to be a trine.

I like to dress very nice & casual. I'm also a big fan about matching. Some people don't care when it comes to matching, but I take matching very seriously. I mean, I can be very picky when I dress. Say if I have red pants on with red shoes, if the color of the red shoes don't fit the pants, I won't wear it.

Also, I have Uranus & Neptune in the 1st. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.. :/
