Do you think anything in the natal chart would indicate what type of music someone would listen to?I've noticed alot of Aquarians and Scorpios tend to be into Heavy metal or classical, or music that has an acquired taste. I have venus in aquarius and i listen to a wide range of music, from film scores to underground metal bands no one has really heard of, ambient music, game soundtracks, folk music from different cultures, old guilty pleasure songs from the past. I just have extremely diverse and strange tastes, typical of Aqua. Just a thought, do you think aspects could affect this? IP: Logged |

I wouldn't put TOO much into it. You might find some patterns but... I've seen where the parents listened to "oldies" and all the kids ended up listening to oldies when they grew up.
Or people growing up in the 70's... listening to the 70's music, or 80's, the 80's music and so on. Myself, I listen to what is basically three COMPLETELY different genres of music. One I kind of grew up around, another explored in high school, and the third and most prominent I found on my own. IP: Logged |

Cyber, industrial, metal, electro pop.Some of my fav bands: NIN, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, IAMX, Combichrist, Kraftwerk, everything by Mike Patton, A Perfect Circle, Covenant... Don't know what influences my taste. I'm just weird  I love when people go: "What? I'd have never thought..." I like rock the most . You might also find this strange, but I like theme songs, especially with no lyrics. If that song has a good melody, it's fine for me.IP: Logged |

I think Moon signs can give an indication of musical tempo.For instance, my Aries moon LOVES, LOVES, LOVES upbeat, uptempo music. Any music with a faster BPM is the music for me. I do like deep, rhythmic downtempo music as well, but I prefer uptempo songs. My water sign moon friends and relatives all love listening to ballads, slow jams. And those are the club kids! But they all listen to slow R&B, easy listening, gospel/spiritual music the majority of the time. Car rides are NOT fun, lemme tell you! IP: Logged |
