I have always wondered if this was weird or not, I have Aquarius rising with Leo north node. I know that Aquarius and Leo are polar signs astrologically so that's where I get a bit confused, because they say your north node is who you are meant to become in this life. So where I get confused is....am I meant to be an Aquarius or a Leo???

You are meant to be BOTH. That's what I do with my confusing nodes. I have sun in the sign opposite my north and it's in the house the sign my north is in traditionally rules so I just balance them by taking on both characteristics.

With Leo and Aqua sometimes you need to be the center of attention, other times, you will just be part of the audience applauding for someone else.

I would see it so that you are not meant to be your ASC, you already are your ASC or it is already an integral part of you (all the more so as your SN is in Aqua too).

You are meant to reach for the themes of your NN in this life, integrate them into your life and personality and grow through that.
Since your Descendant is in Leo, one very natural way to go for it would be through personal relationships with Leos.

Belage - The other thing I have in common with the President is that we have the same fate line on our right hands. I don't know if that means anything, but I think its pretty cool.

Interesting, Bella! Are you thinking of going into politics? Having your ASC/DESC ont he US nodal axis can be a great asset.

I was asked a while back when I had my palm read. It's weird, I actually despise politics and anything that deals with it. But...I wouldn't rule out taking a stab at it, I guess. I've been into the arts, science, and fashion...LOL.

I guess part of having contradictions in your natal chart, is part of the challenge that we must over come...

I agree with starlight, your suppose to be both...

I have contractions too with my natal nn, it makes it hard to achieve, but I have to find somehow to overcome it..
