Topic: How important is the AC in synastry?

I've noticed that a lot of my relationships have trines from Venus or Mars to one person's AC (this includes my marriage).Is that even relevant, beyond just finding the other person physically attractive on the outside, or does it go any deeper than that? I vaguely understand the AC as how we appear to others, how we project ourselves to others and possibly within society, but that our Sun and Moon represent more of who we truly are. Thoughts? What i've read about Venus contacting Asc is that the Venus person kind of obsesses over the Asc person because they are so perfect and all in their eyes(it's happened to me but had other influence too)
What I felt was something like admiring the Asc person SO much that we end up having emotions for them,they are not deep emotions like a Venus/Pluto would be..They're the type of emotions that a fan grows towards her favorite rock star,for example.sun / moon contacts are nicer because emotions flow(trines especially,i think) Venus/Asc might be a little superficial at times.Hope this helped  IP: Logged |

Yes, it did, thanks! There are usually other influences in my relationships that add a bit more weight, but yes... You answered my question about how much thought to put into the Venus/Mars aspects to the Ac. Probably nice to have in addition to more meaningful aspects, but more like an accessory or something like that...?
