Venus ruling the signs Taurus and Libra. Do you agree with me that Venus has a dual nature here? Taurus and Libra are two poles apart.In Vedic, Venus rules the mercurial constellation of nakshatra Revati in Pisces,she is exalted in the latter. Note venus importance in final liberation-moksha.Venus also rules the nakshatra Bharani. In this nakshatra Venus has the power to grant life an death. Also in this nakshatra Venus is associated with female and male fertility. Venus in rulership of the nakshatra Purvaphalguni grants procreation and creativity. In Purvashada, she is the high priestess. Venus,sanskrit name shukra which means white or bright. The god Yama ( Lord of death) presides over the nakshatra Bharani ruling the sign Libra. The scales of Justice,showing off venus as the power of Justice. Note the exaltation. of Saturn in the sign Libra. But what I have never understood was why Venus is debilitated in virgo?? virgo is ruled by mercury a friend of venus, virgo is an earth sign. Venus is in its fall in virgo because Virgos aren't interested in love but service. Most bachelors are Virgins they don't see the need for matrimony.IP: Logged |

Yes and also it's because Virgo is the sign opposite of Venus's exaltation, Pisces. This is where Venus wants to be most relaxed. Virgo is where it wishes to remain uptight.

shukra rules bharani. chitra is ruled by mangal. I don't use the characteristic of the sign to explain the nakshatra. It's the other way round. IP: Logged |

So much as I would love to make this thread about ''fleur'' let's get it back on track on Venus.Nakshatra Bharani is classified as a ''cruel'' nakshatra whose nature is particularly taken into consideration in event astrology. It is mostly associated with being deceitful,conniving,sneaky and deceitful either purposely or ''innocently'' but in MOST cases there is a degree of dishonesty involved which TBH I find really interesting.
