I'm a Virgo sun with a Taurus asc and I always figured that would make me an earthy person, but there are a lot of water sign influences in my chart (particularly Scorpio in Moon, Venus, Jupiter & Pluto) so I was wondering if that kinda trumps the earth signs?

All planets are in my signature btw.

Sun Virgo 16°08'29 end of house 5 direct
Moon Scorpio 0°25'05 in house 6 direct
Mercury Libra 7°19'30 in house 6 direct
Venus Scorpio 1°06'25 in house 6 direct
Mars Cancer 14°48'37 in house 3 direct
Jupiter Scorpio 11°05'09 in house 7 direct
Saturn Pisces 8°27'08 in house 11 retrograde
Uranus Capricorn 22°36'17 in house 10 retrograde
Neptune Capricorn 20°43'24 in house 10 retrograde
Pluto Scorpio 25°36'26 in house 7 direct
True Node Scorpio 16°31'19 in house 7 retrograde

Yes, you do seem to have more water dominant in your horoscope by me reading your signature. This does make you more quite emotional.

Especially your Moon in Scorpio. Having a moon in a water sign definitely makes someone emotional. However, in my opinion, I think Moon in Scorpios can be emotional to a lesser extent.

With a moon in Cancer or Pisces, they'll be a little bit more caring than Moon in Scorpio. I'm not saying that Moon in Scorpio doesn't care about people's feelings, but I'm just saying, they care to a lesser extent than other water signs.

In addition, I believe that having negative signs (Earth/Water) in your horoscope period makes you emotional. When you have positive influences (Air/Fire), you won't be as emotional. But your Earth placements have something to do with this as well.

Well - Her Moon is at 0 degrees Scorpio, and Pluto is at 25 degrees Scorpio... The orbs are too far apart to be a conjunction, I'm guessing.

Well I think you have moon conjunction venus, both in water signs, that is really good, it makes you emotional and having great sympathy for others... you are greatly in contact with your feelings, but all that scorpio energy must make you quiet intense

Also, I've been told I have a grand water trine in my chart but I'm not sure as to what that means. Can someone explain that to me, and maybe tell me if it's good?

Here's my chart if it's easier.

I've been told that I have Grand Trine also. Not sure what that means either!

Anyone care to inform us?!

A grand trine is formed when three planets in three different signs of same element form a trine with each other.

In farah's chart, Saturn in Pisces, Jupiter in Scorpio and Mars in Cancer form a trine(120 degree) with each other. It looks like an equilateral triangle, you can see it the chart. Grand trine in water can make the person highly intuitive.

Ahh I got it!

My Grand Trine is in Water also. And I am SUPER intuitive. I love that about myself!

Anything else to add?

Earth & Water are my favorite elements so YOU are good with me!

You are much more intense than the average Virgo is.

I wouldn't say that these placements "trump" your Sun sign position. They just make you a more discerning Virgo(in terms of emotional energy).

They don't take anything away from you, they add an emotional content that makes you more interesting.

Venus in Scorpio is, to my belief, feelings and emotions and since it conjuncts your Moon, it is likely that the temperament of your partner will be very much like your own.

Jupiter in Scorpio suggests someone who likes investing in money or spending money in books on sexual fulfillment, eroticism and pleasure. There is also interest in spiritual mastery and being the ruler of one's destiny.

I know someone who has Venus-conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio and she spends a great deal of money in lingerie. It makes her feel good.

Saturn in Pisces suggests someone who prefers to work "behind the scenes" and not call attention to themselves.

Saturn in Pisces often denotes a career in what people call a "thankless" profession; nursing, teaching, looking after the homeless, forensic specialists, garbage disposal companies and even the housewife who takes care of her children all day long etc.

Mars in Cancer often fights with their emotions involved. A cause must touch their heart in order for them to be drummed to action. Otherwise this Mars sign often spends a great deal of time defending and preparing themselves for whatever the big world out there throws at them. Seldom are they looking to live beyond dealing with the everyday up/down challenges of life.
