I feel as though I wasn't meant to be part of a family. I'm friends with my parents, feel loyalty towards them, and would defend them against anyone who decided to criticize their choices but at the same time I think I could go months without speaking to them (not in an angry matter, but more indifferent.) What would point to such a feeling in the natal chart?IP: Logged |

Interesting question. I feel the same at times when it comes to my parents. I have a South Node - personal planet conjunction with both. I get along well with my sister though, no South Node connections there but a North Node - Jupiter conjunction. IP: Logged |

It's not a matter of astrology it's the times that are changing, and the traditions like family meetings etc. People want to be more independant now so that's probably why.IP: Logged |

My dad and I more more detached and I'd like to keep it that way... not interested in dealing with his internal struggles.... we just don't have that kinda relationship. besides he goes to my mother for that, which is appropriate. However my mom talks to me about her dirty laundry. I could never be detached from her We a lot of pluto/saturn synastry together. Including venus conjunct mars and sun conjunct sun/moon We've shared so much with each other.. Like to the point where you see them as a person and not just a parent... I know all her desires and deepest fantasies.. I mean our greatest loves were born on the same day... we have that connection. Even thou it sounds ****** , I think it's kinda nice because she kinda advices me not to make the same mistakes she did and to stop being afraid. IP: Logged |

Ohhh okay. Makes more sense now... Sun squares Saturn and Neptune, and Moon trines Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. IP: Logged |

I've read that hard aspects between Moon and Saturn are the "abandonment" aspect. That could be physical and emotional. Moon and Uranus, IMO, are sudden separations from home/mother.I've read about a girl named Carlina White who reunited with her parents 23 years later after being stolen from a hospital as a newborn by a woman posing as a nurse. She had a tough, but close relationship with her adoptive mother. She began feuding with her bio parents (especially her bio mom) after finding out they spent all the money they received from the hospital settlement. She has a Moon-Uranus-Chiron square. My eldest brother and our mother are not close; he has a Moon-Saturn opposition. She and my sister aren't close either; my sister's 4H ruler is Neptune, which is afflicted. Her Venus is conjunct Chiron in 4H. IP: Logged |

How is Neptune afflicted in her chart? I have Virgo ruling my 4H, Mercury is not that afflicted except for being squared Saturn and Neptune. But my Moon is trine both of those, so wouldn't that balance it out? IP: Logged |
